I'm in Dallas, but called around a ton of dealers between here and Houston. The conversation with Sterling was friendly and straight forward, and the market adjustment was lower than the other dealers who were taking orders.

What is their deposit? I ordered with Moritz Ft Worth in March.

Hey! I ordered my 2022 Telluride in January 2022 in Central PA. I still have not received a confirmation from my dealer that my order has been picked up by Kia to start manufacturing. With the half way mark of the year approaching, my dealer said that I may receive a new 2023 model. Has anyone else dealer told them this? Is this true?

If you look on failcat you can see the number of tellurides each dealership gets. It's crazy how many some California dealerships get. It's double what the highest tx volume dealer gets.

Does that mean they get 137/month?

They've gotten 137 total. If you click the VA007 code to the left, it'll show you the dates that the VINs were issued and you can get a better idea of how many that dealer gets each month.

You can also click STATS at the top of the page, type in the dealer code and get a graph view for different time frames.

No that's all time since late 2019 or whenever the dealer first appeared.

Well guess who reached out finally! Maybe he's reading this now....but thanks for giving me an update. Looks like April 27th.

I ordered mine on 2/15, we worked with the GM which was amazing, but getting updates has been like pulling teeth. I was told 3-4 months. I contacted the GM yesterday to get an update and was told that all KIA systems were down, so frustrating. I have not received any updates.

I ordered from Murray Kia Conshohocken PA at MSRP end of November. The dealer was sold to Raceway 4/25 my car arrived last week. Dealer now wants $7995 over MSRP. Nothing like sticking the dealers foot up your A after waiting for it’s arrival.

That is unacceptable, they should honor the agreed-upon price when you placed the order. A similar thing happened to me...the dealer where I placed deposit for vehicle at MSRP was bought out by another dealer after vin was generated. The new dealer is marking them up now, but they honored the agreed upon price on delivery. Funny thing is, Kia had to update the dealer code from old dealer to new dealer, and in doing so they (Kia) raised the MSRP by $300.....
I would fight your issue tooth and nail.....see if your local news station has a consumer-advocate reporter who can show up with a news team.......pls keep us posted.

my salesman signed my order showing the order price including the shipping cost. But there is a comment that a market adjustment could be added. I’ve read that adjustment was around $300. Many thousands over your price that you agreed to -which made you go ahead with the order is worthy of news coverage. This highway robbery is a hot topic and the media should report it.

Yes, I emailed the GM on Monday, was told that all KIA systems was down. Tuesday-nothing. I emasiled again this morning and he responded "your order is still in unfilled status which means there is not an actual ETA yet" he attached request details but unable to open the attachment.
