I've got a 2.04% until Jul 22 but don't think I'm going to make the close date. Just informed last week I was picked up in KFOS andealer's ETA is currently 9/22. sigh . . .

For those that have ordered and taken delivery, how long did it take from the time the car was marked as “tendered” (waiting for truck) to when the dealer received?

You might want to compare your order specs with the currently known 2023 Telluride trim specifications to see if you actually will be receiving exactly what you want. As pointed out above, your order may be rolled into the 2023 MY.

Your dealer really should have warned you, or at least mentioned this possibility. A "close enough is good enough" buyer is one thing, but you don't appear to fall into that category.

In reviewing what has been released about the 2023, there wasn't anything that was a dealbreaker. I just wasn't going to find an EX with bench seats - which was something I absolutely needed - and was the reason I couldn't bump up to the SX. I don't need what's being offered with the new X models. So even if I end up with 2023, I'm okay.

Hello all, I am reading a lot and getting different things from everyone. I ordered my Telluride SX Prestige on March 8th. I got the Wolf Gray/Nightfall package. I understand it has not been long but I am looking for some insight. I just called my salesperson and she did not have any update except for the fact that the factory is behind. Has anyone heard the same thing? I am curious, if anyone is willing to share, how much of a deposit did you have to put down? How long until I should get my VIN #? I was told I would have it this month and the car would be delivered in September. I am needing reassurance.

You need to find out if your order was "picked" up by KIA or not. If it hasn't you are not getting a 2022.

It terrifies me that my dealer had no idea what I meant by that.... Are you saying that if my order hasn't been picked up by KFOS by now than I will be getting a 2023? Their whole system is very much lacking, especially in communication. I might have a connection to another dealer at the same location, I am going to see if he can help me out.

Who did you order from? I had orders placed before yours and neither picked up. For one I'm told I'm still 70+ in line.

2) "how much of a deposit" - All dealerships are different. The amounts a different and some are non-refundable.

They know when the order is picked up. A good dealer will tell you the day that they know. They will then have an initial ETA within a couple of days. The VIN can come weeks later.

Kia has already closed out orders for 2022 Model Year. Unless you are getting one that was already ordered, you will almost certainly be getting a '23.

Depending on what all this changes, I am okay with this. BUT would they change the price that was already agreed upon since it will be a newer model? I wonder if this has happened to anyone.

If you agreed to pay MSRP and the price went up, you will pay the difference. Most agreements have some wiggle room in them for situations like this. It has happened the last two model year changeovers and at least once mid year that I can recall. It has been thoroughly discussed on this site. They really have you over a barrel. Will you walk away if the price goes up a few hundred dollars on a 50K car? Probably not. And if you do, there will be many people who are willing to buy it.

Sounds like we have the same dealer.... I ordered 3/8 SX AWD P White with dune brown. He told me 90 days max.. then changed it to 120 days last month. Doesn't update me at all... I am pretty sure my order still has not been picked up.

yeah, KFOS closed earlier this month, so I won't be getting a 2022.. he said he will let me know when he gets updated information on when can reorder for a 2023.. debating on getting my deposit back if able.. cannot decide. They definitely give misleading information when placing an order... Is your salesman Derrick?
