In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. They were the ones that told me it was that VIN. I had seen it pop up on the date it was made but I thought nothing of it given it was the wrong color.
I sent them an e-mail asking if they had any updates (thinking it hadn't been made yet) and they sent back saying it'll be here within the next few days and gave me that VIN.

He had been replying so quickly when we were talking about the information required for payment and trade in appraisal - but oddly enough communication stopped completely when I brought it up...

Probably never orderd it. That's just closest match they had coming in. We see this daily. Not saying this is true but it's possible.

Over the past month and a half I've kind of wished I had gotten the tow package - so I'm excited about that change at least.But they got that wrong as well

Finally got back to me - insisted I order the Tow but wasn't sure why the interior color was wrong.
Ended up getting Freight, add ons (like floor mats and such), and $300 off of the towing package for the issues. So, decent little discount for it being fully loaded IMO.
I want it so badly that I wasn't going to cry too much.

Not sure. I've read on here before dealers say they show up when they show up. I'm sure the factory staff has access to that information through the carriers

Figured that was the case. My dealership told me that it is "in the state " but it'll show up some point soon.
Wasn't sure if that was them just continuing to hold back info or not.
