Order to delivery time

I know I've got a long way to go but reading most of the comments here is very encouraging. Ordered mine 08/18/20 at Fort Bend Kia,TX. I asked the dealership about KFOS and was told " Your order was submitted, but Kia gives no updates until it is filled and starts in production." Any idea how long after the order placed and into KFOS? I ordered SX P/N Ebony black w/ black interior.

I ordered the same in July. No updates yet.

11/30. I updated my signature. This is from a dealer in the top 50 that gets on average 23 Tellurides a month. If it does actually arrive then, it would be 8 months 2 weeks, 5 days since I ordered it. My friends that ordered on 3/4, took delivery of a NE on 8/28. SO not getting a NE is at least a 3 month penalty.

I got my 1st call ever from my dealer. He said Monday is the day. I’m not sure how they can tell. As far as i know when it’s in transit, there is no communication with truck driver. I was hoping this week though!

BTW ordered 8/1 dealer says 9/23, but that has changed almost daily since we first talked.

It means that it is either in the build process (or built) and your dealer should be able to start giving you ETAs on delivery. On average, ROUGHLY 3-6 weeks to delivery from the time the VIN is created. Depends on many things including transportation time to whichever part of the country you are in.

Luckily I'm only one state away (SC), hopefully that means the lower end of that range.

I WAS going Dune Brown but changed at the last minute and went black. I just came from a black leather interior on my truck, it wasn't too bad. I'm pretty conservative when it comes to that stuff. I was afraid I'd hate it and be stuck with it or have to wait another 6 months....

Are you happy with the color selection? I didn't want black or white, everyone was loving the moss. I was leaning towards the Gray. I didn't even like the Silver when I first saw it, but then as I kept going back to the dealership and looking at the silver on different vehicles on the lot it began to grow on me. The deal closer was some of the pics of the Silver with the black rims...... very classy looking.

100%, I think the Everlasting Silver and Nightfall is the sexiest combination. I like the fact the color seems to be bluish in certain lighting. White/black are boring to me and after having a black car, never again. Never got behind the moss green. It was ES or GG for me, with ES winning.
