Order to delivery time

So i picked up my 2021 KIA Telluride, SXP +T about 5 weeks ago....and this is my first time checking back here. We waited over 9 months for Telly Mae and she was well worth it.

In mid-Sept, we took her to her natural habitat....the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina......and the terrain was pretty crazy......A lot of twisty roads and steep elevation climbs......and Telly Mae handled everything better than I could ever ask for from an SUV.

I did install the Pedal Commander on the day she came home.....and its pretty good.....I am not sure its worth $265 bux .....but it gives the vehicle immediate acceleration.

I opted to not go ceramic coating because its a lease......so i just waxed it myself for the first time last weekend......I see that the paint is a bit gentle because i noticed a small rock chip or two on curve of hood.....Barely noticeable.....

Windows (Front) were tinted by my guy at the legal limit here in NC , 35%

Wife is very happy....it is her SUV....she never even got to test drive it.......and the kids like the captain's chairs for comfort and their own space.....

I will score this vehicle a 8.6 out of 10

I am not sure if its popular or not but some people were complaining about the throttle response from the factory.....so i bit the bullet and purchased one....It really works well except i feel like it burns through gas faster since the engine revs up higher

I too am very curious. I pick up mine next weekend...one week from tomorrow - can't wait. I am going to see how it performs before I shell out the cash for one. This is replacing a 2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L - so I am thinking for us it will have plenty of power. I drive a Chevy SS sedan with a 6.2L V8...so everything seem slow - lol. But I really don't want a huge fuel economy penalty if it is as quick and confident as the Odyssey was. On paper it the numbers show it to be quicker than our Odyssey - so I am going to try it stock first.

Idk what a Pedal Commander was but just googled it. I'd be interested but I'm also looking at the PCT performance chip. Havent seen anything on the forum regarding HP add-ons. Anyone done any HP upgrades of any sort? I'd like to be around 340HP+.

What is your scheduled delivery date? Is that the day you get yours delivered by a 3rd party shipper?

I'm really hoping I get my order in in time for our Christmas trip to my mom's outside of Chattanooga and our annual trip to Blue Ridge. Would love to be able to drive on that windy road along the Ocoee River.

Love that little cabin. Is that yours or a rental? If it's a rental, I'd love to get some info on it.

I looked at Lee Johnson (Kirkland). Failcat shows that they are tied for first in WA state for deliveries so thats something!

Last I heard they were charging @MSRP with a $1k reservation fee and had a 12+ queue.
I went with a lower volume dealer charging MSRP with my SX-P. With the low SX-P production numbers in August I had basically assumed March 2021.

Entered into KFOS in mid Sept and I’m currently expecting production to start on 10/29 with a delivery date of 12/12. Stay positive - production seems to be picking up, even though SX-P nightfall production has dropped over late Sept. and early Oct.
