If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Right, but when I open the door to get out the screens and music should turn off like usual by design, but sometimes they don't. Like I'll park, hit the stop button, engine turns off, music and screens stay on, I open the door and get out of the car but then realize the screens and music are still on. It hasn't been just me either. It happened this weekend when my husband was driving. He didn't notice until we started to walk away from the car and I told him he hadn't locked it when I saw the mirrors hadn't folded in. Then I saw the main screen was still on as well. He had hit the stop button, got out of the car and hit the lock button on the door. I had to get in, start the car then go through the normal shut down. But it doesn't happen often enough for me to see any pattern or to even be positive I wasn't imagining it until it did it for him too. I was starting to question whether I was remembering to hit the off button! The engine is off, it's not a safety thing, but it could be a battery issue if it happens in my garage when I get home at the end of the day and don't catch it because I don't lock it in the garage. At this point it's just a quirk I'm trying to pay attention to see if it's a problem or not. It's still early days for these cars, I expect there will be bits of weirdness here and there to be discovered and figured out.
Yes, I have experienced the same problem several times. I had to restart the engine and then it would shut down when I pressed the start button again, Strange and annoying.

After a little over 1 year of ownership I had this same experience the other day. Stopped the Telluride, opened the driver side door, radio and accessories still running. I had to turn it back on and shut it down to stop. Very strange behavior almost like the Telluride didn’t sense I opened the door.

Is it possible the start stop button was pressed twice and it was simply in accessory mode? In which case would not turn off when the door was opened.

Happened to me. My display wasn't working. I pulled off of the road and turned off the car. Radio still on after opening the door. Started the car and the display showed the choices for the camera surround without the camera view. Headed to dealer to show. After about 5 minutes, Got UVO logo on screen and it rebooted while I was driving and started working. No problems since. Will be watching. Mine is one month old.

We have had are 2020 Telluride about 6 months and have really no complaints so far. There is however some very small windshield chips that may need to be addressed later down the road that Kia knows about if they get worse. One of the best SUV's I have ever owned. It is a S model AWD. I dipped the wheels black an added some door moldings and since the pics ,blacked out drivers front windows. Very happy with the purchase so far.
Awesome !! Best looking SUV

wish i would have seen this sooner. we have owned our Telly since last June. when we first ordered, we waited for a bit to get it ( just like everyone else ). i think all in all, it took about 3 months to get it. when we first got it, it was perfect! i used it as a daily driver ( to and from work.....way.....back when i used to go into office ). at any rate, here are things i don't like:
oh...just for reference, I have the Telly SX w/ prestige and towing package.
- HATE, HATE, HATE the auto-sensing wipers. no way to set wiper interval manually. only auto sensing wiper, and they dont work fast enough..meaning it doesn't 'sense' ( clear windshield ) until it is nearly impossible to see through it.
- you can feel road vibration through gas pedal. i know this sounds bizarre, but i find it super annoying that i can feel road bumps in the pedals. now, before someone says this is normal, my other car is a subaru outback, and i dont have the same feeling
- UVO app sucks! i would have paid extra to have a key fab with remote start built in. i am sure they will fix this in the future. but to me, if you pay > 50k for a car, having remote start in the keyfob does not seem like too much to ask
- the infocenter could be better ( or more configurable ). i never use the navigation, and it would be nice to just delete it from infocenter all together
- engine could have more power. i know you can turn on 'sport' mode, but i wish just in comfort mode, it would be a bit more responsive.
- suspension. i wish it was tighter. again, when i compare it to our subaru outback, the subaru is much, much better.

dont get me wrong....we still really, really like our telluride. it is an excellent value for the money.

@Jjpclev2715 have you tried adjusting the sensitivity, dial B as shown in the manual? Also, you are aware there is a low and high speed setting that is not controlled by the Auto wiper system at all right?ABA1B469-DF37-48BE-BF66-CD0F74273CCA.jpeg

I do agree with you that on some light mist days, the auto wipers even on max sensitivity will not clear the rain droplets from the windshield. Other than that, the auto wipers work great and are super convenient not to have to think about adjusting. Especially in scattered shower conditions.

I don’t feel any noticeable vibration in my gas pedal. But if you are talking about driving at speeds of 70mph, there are some subtle vibrations in the car in general. From my experience, seems to be attributed to the stock tires riding on rigid versus flexible pavement.

A lot of people feel the same about the Kia Access app.

Are you talking about removing the map from the home widget screen? All you have to do is tap an hold on the widget. Or hit menu and edit. Even if you use your phone for navigation, you will be grateful to have built-in when you are stuck somewhere with no cell reception and need to get home.

As for power and handling, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I think most people bought the car knowing they wouldn’t be impressed by either.

thank you very much for your reply. and, i have tried playing w/ the sensitivity. i am also aware of the manual low & high. I guess what i really want is a manual intermittent. I honestly think there is something wrong w/ my sensor ( maybe my sensitivity control is bad, as it doesn't seem to matter what i set it to, it is still slow to react to any mist or light rain. ).

as far as my other issues, i didn't mean to sound like a complainer. i mean, this is by far the most expensive car we have ever owned. and overall, we are very happy with the purchase. I guess they are mostly minor annoyances ( except for the wipers :) ). we have taken the Telly on road trips, and it is super comfortable, and just perfect for our family of four.

Thanks again for the reply.
cheers....

You may have the wrong sensor. There us a TSB about some that had the wrong sensor installed and how to check it..
