• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... S Trim Headlights Not Bright

Thanks! I just ordered mine and they'll be here tomorrow!
I just clicked the link and after entering 2020 Kia Telluride it gave me a warning that they wouldn't fit that vehicle?!

If it’s an HB3/9005 bulb it’ll fit. Most websites do not have Telly’s in their databases yet - too new.

I had edited my post but I think you were sending your message at the same time so you may not have seen it.
Is it just the bulb that gets replaced, not the little dome magnifier thing? I'll try to explain this to my husband as he had the same concern about the brightness in addition to the heat. Did you have to remove the headlight assembly to swap the bulbs? I can't get out to look under the hood.

And do you need two sets of replacement bulbs, one for high beam and one for low beam?

Isn't one bulb with High and Low beam, the one on that link shows High beam only.

My wife was ahead of me bringing our Telly home last night and she commented that the headlights weren't very bright. And, our S doesn't have floodlights. I'll probably upgrade the bulbs anyway but has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was your resolution? Thanks in advance.
Hi..
I have the same problem with my kia telluride to. The headlights are really dim in the night I'm thinking of doing LEDS.

I got some LED bulbs they are the perfect solution and still work when you switch to high beams. The brand I have been using in my last vehicle for the past year is AUXITO and the bulb type is 9005. They are $30 on amazon. At this price point they have been the best bang for your buck, and the beam pattern is adjustable. But I just left mine as they were out of the box.
Which Auxito 9005 bulbs did you end up going with as I'm seeing a few around the $30 mark? Are they still working out well for you?

We just bought a new S model the other day and I'm definitely looking to replace the stock bulbs.

I saw others who went the HID route, and although really tempting, with it being so new I'm a bit hesitant to start drilling holes in things. Plus, I'm slightly concerned that making such changes will void the warranty.

Only drilled hole was in the cap that covers the headlight. The DDM kit has a waterproof rubber grommet to use. No warranty problems there...

I have a big problem with the high lights of my kia telluride model S, they were already damaged once according to what they indicated to me at the dealer and I had to buy them new only when they were damaged again, in the dealer they indicated that they should review the problem more thoroughly and diagnosed a short circuit in the headlights, which replaced me with new ones, ok after all this I have always seen that the lights do not illuminate anything and now 2 months after the complete headlights changed Highlights don't work, only lowlights. My truck only has 6 months to buy it and I really do not know what to do, I have read all the comments here but nothing similar, I want to know that they recommend me and if the solution is to buy Led bulbs of the brand that you recommend, I do not I think they are the headlights I think they are inexperienced in terms of this fault but the truth is not sure, I need help please, I want to know what lights really work I should buy thanks

Only low beam working. You mean when go High beam the headlight assembly wont flip up the mechanism to allow full light release??? Or mechanism work but just same light intense discharged????

I don't see the change of light when I switch to the high beams, how can I know?

Ok low/high beam Its only one bulb inside the enclosure. And a mechanism goes up and down for low/high beam. If not working you have a defective assembly. Change bulbs for led will not fix your issue. On mine when I activate low/ high can hear the mechanism going up or down of course. Me close to the headlamp assembly

I already changed the complete headlights once I can not believe they were damaged again! I don't really like this since in the dealer it seems they don't know what they are doing since they try to change my light bulbs

One light bulb for low/high bean always on, your headlight assembly opens for high bean Close for low bean but always same amount of light from your bulb

I've had led's for several months now. Love them. My wife had to get used to the detailed output and how it casts a light line that is very distinct. I've also upgraded my back up lights, rear license plate lights, and getting ready to do turn signals up front.

Hey, which lights did you use for the backup and license plate replacements?

Is there a bulb replacement for the high beam as well?
Is there a brand that you prefer?
S trim has a single bulb 9005. Read all prev post you will find many suggestions. Choose yours and let us know
