• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... And on that MSRP price you would add taxes, dealer fees, destination fees, correct. I live one california but still staying in budget is important for my family. I don’t like all the stuff they add on I wish car shopping would be simple and no negotiation.

You can negotiate a better deal without those car buying clubs. If you aren't getting a minimum of 5% off sticker, you aren't doing it right

Oh wow! Maybe a typo or a bait and switch? Lol. I’ve been seeing 35k for base entry level and was quoted a list price of $41.1k for the EX via email. When I asked why it was more than the listed msrp price on the website or if it had some add-one he stopped responding to me.
just saw my dealer here listing an SX for 48,044 MSRP... I'm trying to figure if that's too high (they only have one); and will joining the Founders Club take the price down. thoughts?

I think that's too high. And I don't have high hopes for the Founders Club "membership" offering any monetary incintives that aren't also available to non-"members".

This SX AWD is almost $4500 off MSRP. Pretty good deal if you're willing to travel. There's one other SX AWD on Autotrader for under $44,000.

Dang pretty good discount already. Maybe it’s discounted more because it’s AWD and in Florida. Probably not too many people care for Awd in the south?

Looks like ALL the SX trims so far are green :/.... let's get some Black Copper's on the road! (just so I can see what it looks like)

That can't be the reason. Why would the dealership order a less desirable trim just to have to discount it more heavily?

I think some dealerships will just have better prices. Maybe this one is a high volume seller so they can discount more than smaller dealerships.

The dealer by me said they weren’t able to specify which vehicle they got for the initial round.

I remember when lived in FL they always had huge discounts on KIAs. Would probably make sense for me to fly to FL and drive or ship one to CA.

How long ago was that? KIA isn't the discount brand it used to be...

I lived in Orlando and those guys there were bombarding with ads on TV. I canceled cable 2y ago but we all know KIA was trying to get everyone to their lots.

Any new news on the Founders Club incentives? I spoke with our local dealer and they were oblivious to its existence, no surprise there. Coming from BMW and Buick dealerships prior, Kia dealers are the Best Buy of the auto industry. You go for a good prpduct, but do all your research online before you go.

I just got an email yesterday saying check my inbox again in a couple weeks. Really disappointed these weren't sent to us before the vehicles were sent to the dealers. So much for founders

I'm kind of feeling the same way. We are in search of an SX Prestige but I have a severe case of FOMO that we are going to pull the trigger on the first one that hits one of the local lots and then the Founders promo is going to announce additional money off. Grrr...

Several dealers have the one we want in stock right now, and it is hard not pulling the trigger right now. But the incentives aren't that good now. I still don't see any finance incentives worth a darn. Somebody has mentioned 1500 cash with Kia financing, but that's not listed on their website.

We were quoted $3300 off via Kia Finance Rebate, I think invoice on the SX is around $44k so I'm thinking close to $41k is a good deal, anything more and we will wait it out. We got our Stinger 20% off list but that kind of pricing isn't going to happen for a long while.

How long did you wait to get 20% off? I'm hoping the founders deals hit any day now. But I'm not expecting anything crazy. Probably just another $1000 off or something.
