• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The 1st payment is nice, but I thought it would be a lot better.. since I work for Kia and didnt finance through them..

You know what, that first payment made by Kia could be a good deal... if they sell you the car for $5,000 under invoice. And offer 0% (OK, I’m in a good mood today, 0.49%) financing.

If “incentives” are contingent upon you having to buy the car at a certain price and/or financing at a certain interest rate, then they’re not really incentives, are they?

Ok so I just heard from my salesman what the founders club deals are:

There are 2 options, you either get first payment paid up to $750, or you can opt for 2 free years of SiriusXM all access.

Beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick for sure! Something more than nothing is a pretty dang good gift.

Right?! Kinda what I thought

Curious to see if it applies to leases as well. And I want my beer coozie!

I purchased an SX Prestige yesterday but called KIA before completing the transaction and they opened a case number. Today I received a follow up call and was informed that emails should be going out on Thursday with additional information. Hopefully we get something on Thursday that provides confirmation.

Does anyone have info on what specials might be included with this Club? Or how exactly to sign up? All I see on Kia's site is that you can give them your contact info, and just wait I guess! Have any of their other cars had similar clubs? If so, what were those specials? Thanks all!

up to $750 off on 1st payment when using Kia financing or leasing. just bought my SX Prestige today

I agree. Was expecting more. AND you have to purchase by April 30th (before any discounts come out).

Well that’s disappointing .. idk maybe it’s just me 😞

It's more than I was expecting. I honestly thought it would be a t-shirt or coffee mug.

I knew Kia wouldn't offer any real incentives to only a certain group of people who signed up for a email. That just doesn't make any sense.

I got an email about it today. $750 first payment or 2 years satellite radio is correct.

I'd choose the 2 years of free radio.
2 years of free radio doesn't even equate to $200. I'd take the instant $400-$500 or more depending on payment.

With all due respect, my fellow Telluride fan, that is not the way to go...

A few phone calls will get you the standard XM package for $30 for 6 months, or, if you’re lucky, 5 months for $20.

If you want to upgrade to the deluxe Internet/Baba Booey package, you can usually get it for $50 for 6 months or $119 for a year.

Taking the radio deal saves you maybe 15 minutes of time, and loses you just about $500 or more.

Congratulations! Oh and welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up. What did the Telluride replace for you?

Yes, I received that email a few minutes ago as well... The "Founder's Club" is more of a "get the word out" type of thing than Hyundai's "Think Tank" where there was actually a community where people spent a lot of time answering questions, taking surveys, submitting ideas and opinions, etcetera...

I'll be taking the first payment.. save way more that way, even if you pay full price for Sirius, it won't equal the $750

Just out of curiosity for those in the know, is they any chance Hyundai will launch a Founder’s Club for the Palisade? I see that the Think Tank has been dead for several years...

They might do something similar - but it won't be anything like the Think Tank. Hyundai did the Think Tank for the Genesis cars because they knew they'd be launching a luxury brand...

Actually it's even cheaper than that. I just renewed my service and got a free Amazon Echo Dot ($50 value). So I paid $1 for 6 months of the upgraded "baba booey" package.

But it isn't about the money. It's about convience of me not having to deal with SXM for 2 years. And that's worth more than a first month's payment to me.
