• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... New one for me. I searched but didn't see this exact issue referenced in other threads (maybe I missed it though). Wondering if any others have seen it.

I'm still in my trial period for UVO. When I try to set any navigation destination, I get the popup message below under a UVO banner. It's unable to find a route for me. This started three days ago and has been persistent regardless of my location or the destination I try to use. UVO seems to be working properly otherwise (I can use the app to lock/unlock the car, send voice text messages, etc.) Anyone else experienced this?

Have you tried resetting the system with a paper clip to the opening by the volume knob?

Yes, should have mentioned that. Also, when the failure occurs, it gives me the option for offline navigation, which does work.

Called Kia and they suggested moving to Map & Software v15. I've been avoiding doing that based on all the other threads. Is there any way to update just the nav and not touch the rest of the interface?

I just started having the same issue yesterday. Also in middle of trial.

Offline navigation doesn't work for new destinations using voice. The retry and offline only appears on address book addresses

If you manually type in a new address (i.e. no voice), does it fail? And do you then get an offline option?

I speak English fluently so I have never typed in an address

Great, congrats on that. If you can find the time to try it manually, if you get the offline routing button showing up, then that means we have the same issue. I've opened a case with UVO support and submitted screenshots and other documentations. I imagine they'd be interested to know if this has happened to more than one person.

So tried to recreate the error message using text and voice but now they both went to the error screen for 2 seconds before navigation started working. Will check tomorrow.

Issue is still ongoing for me. The errors are always different. Sometimes it just errors out, sometimes it gives a bad connection error, sometimes it goes to the click to retry page and sometimes it will goto click to retry and then work. Last one is rare. Most of the time just goes to the click to retry.

Saw your other post. Did you upgrade to the newest firmware?

Oh forgot. Got a message from my uvo app on my phone that I haven't drove my car for a while and should turn it on. Even though I have been driving it daily.

I am getting the same issue. UVO stopped logging any driving starting after 4/23.

Interesting. Our symptoms aren't quite the same. However it's possible that the same general issue is causing all of these symptoms. That is, if the user interface (UI) software gets out of date, things stop working right.

In case anyone else experiences the same nav symptoms that I am (UVO can't find a route), I'll post my software versions below. Kia has said that the resolution is to update to the latest version. I'd prefer not to do that, in part because I want to keep the 3-panel home screen. Other threads document this and other concerns with the latest UI version. Kia front-line UVO support has been very engaged, and is trying to determine if there is any other way for me to resolve the issue while still keeping that 3-panel home. We'll see. Whatever the ultimate answer is, I'll post it here so others may find it while problem solving their own issues.

In the meantime, my versions are (from the General Settings screen):
SW Ver: ON.USA.S5W_M.V004.001.200324
Firmware Ver: ON.USA.301.200316.MICOM.D
Nav App Ver: STD5W.NAM.KMC.200319.168fa330

I started having the same issues a few days ago, I don't plan on updating the software, the new format stinks.

Started working today 4/29. Phone got a UVO update. All of the past driving record are there now.

Factory reset didn't fix the issue. Guess this is server side.
