What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

I ordered mine today! Ended up going with the Moss w/Dune Brown SX w/Prestige AWD, $46,215 out the door w/the following accessories at no cost: Illuminated scuff plates, all weather mats w/trunk liner, cargo net, rear bumper protection, and side steps at dealer cost. The rebates I got were the 1000 competitor and 400 military off MSRP. Not much of a discount and I shopped 8 dealers, most had the vehicle priced at an average 5k above MSRP when I see those side stickers I walk away. I did not pay tax as I'm a disable vet in GA. 1.9 @ 60. The nice thing is that the dealer is letting me drive a Sorento SX while the order comes in which is roughly 60 days away.
Hi, congrats on you order. Which dealership did you go too in GA? Looking for about the same deal? My current vehicle is dying and waiting to build my Telluride is killing me.

That’s awesome service
Should every dealer at a dealership have access to update me on the status a vehicle that is supposedly in route? I bought one and simply want an update on the expected delivery date and can’t get a callback. The dealer who sold it to me is not back in until next week.

Any of the new car managers should be able to do that for you. However, there may not be anything to update. For example : one of the Telluride's I ordered has an estimated delivery date of April 24th and the other still doesn't have a date. I spoke with my GM and the area manager yesterday. Humorous thing is the AM says to not have a date on the black copper order is really a good thing bc it is already produced, but a specific vehicle has not yet been assigned to us OR one equipped as we ordered is already slated to me shipped to my dealer. He said we should know more come Monday.

Anyway, hope this helps.

Mrmac is correct. Any new car manager has access to look at the ETA of the incoming car. Just really depends on where it is at in the build process. If it is en route than it should literally hit any day.

I’m thinking of starting a service on here to locate Tellurides for people since I have access.. connect clients with knowledgeable sales people after vetting them on the phone. 1.) I wonder if that would be allowed so need the Admin permission. 2.) do you think it would be worth say $50 to save people time and energy tracking down dealers who actually have the product? Problem is if you call a dealer they have the same access but if you aren’t spending money with them very unlikely they tell you who has it next to them.
I don't see any issue with this... Anyone else?

Yes, thank you. I’ll see if another dealer can check on it and then I will try to exercise some patience lol!

Just finalized an order for an S-AWD, captains chairs, Dark Moss with gray interior, carpeted floor maps, tow hitch and roof bars. Agreed to invoice ($36,536, $38,030 MSRP), plus the $1200 lease cash, putting me at $441/mo including TTL for 12k/36mo with $0 down, $0 drive off (other than first month’s payment). May change slightly based on lease programs for the month when it actually arrives (8-12 weeks I was told), but overall I felt it was a fair deal when most dealers wouldn’t even drop $1 below MSRP. My Sorento lease is up in June, so I wanted to get something lined up and not be scrambling at the last minute, hoping that the supply and demand would even out in time. Can’t wait to get it!

Edit: I’m in WI and made the deal with a dealer from IA. 7 dealers around me in WI said they’re not discounting below MSRP whatsoever.

Good job. So cal dealers aren’t budging yet.

Tim-in-CA...seems like things are beginning to loosen up now based on lack of "on-lot" inventory. Had 3 dealers that were willing to place a factory order at $500 over invoice last week (including accessories) and now 2 of those same dealers are offering to sell me the same vehicle (SX w/Prestige) at invoice (for the factory order). I'm now beginning to wonder if any of them are willing to go below invoice. Glad I decided to be patient and wait out this feeding frenzy.

That’s good news. Where are you located? Maybe some regions are cooling off faster. I may also ping them again in a week when it’s closer to the end of the month. Invoice or invoice+500 seems fair for a Kia

So I got one of the sales managers to email back and it looks like the date has been pushed back to 04/05. He sent me an image capture of the details. Any idea what the PIO and Status fields mean here?

Anyone in Northern CA have any positive interaction with any dealers? Looking for a dealer/contact to work with. No problem with ordering either if dealer wants to save on lot inventory for those that must have right now.

I'm in North Cal not in process yet, but would like to know which are ''good'' dealers and some good experiences!
