What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

I‘m taking a one way flight to Buffalo International Airport and going straight to the Kia dealer (10 minutes away) after the sale of my SXPN Telly I will take a 6 hour drive back home. We sure do love our Tellys 🥰
Awesome...welcome to Buffalo (although short-lived)! Hope all goes well!!
Just picked mine up in Cleveland last weekend...and drove back to Buffalo.

I'm in northern Indiana and I am getting a 2021 EX AWD Premium at MSRP. My dealer isn't doing any mark ups.
Is that a custom order?

I had to order it, if that is what you mean. My dealer only had 1 that came in not pre-sold, but it was FWD and I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on FWD given the snow/ice we have here.

Did they give you an eta on when to expect delivery?

Originally they said 3-4 months, but my rep called me on Tuesday and said that the configuration I ordered is what they are producing right now so it will actually be here by the end of the month.
That's awesome to hear and very reassuring. We just order our SXP in Wolf Grey today. Our rep said 4-6 months. When did you order?

I ordered on February 19th so I got super lucky. Guess the timing was just right or something. They did tell me the EX seems to come in faster than the SX. They told me for an SX it's like 4-6 months.

Hi! I’m on Long Island, too! Isn’t it crazy that Dealers here are charging up to $10k over MSRP...insanity 😤! I’m traveling to CT to order mine on Monday, but it won’t be in until Summer. Good luck with your trip! Enjoy that awesome ride home!

Placed an order with Valley Kia in Modesto and it's an upcharge of 2k over MSRP.

average wait not that the plants are open back is 2.5-3 mths. Call Ashley from my previous post or Muncie Kia
Can anyone else confirm this? First I’ve heard of it but great news!
I heard that certain packages are coming quicker like Nightfall, but other options like Dune Brown can slow it down.
I don’t know if my dealer really knows tho, he quoted 4-6 months last week. One dealer I spoke with said 4-12 month wait. I didn’t go with them, but talk about uncertainty!

Ordered ours in January, Napleton’s Mid River Kia with Ashley Vale(?). I also know Muncie ordered so many that their orders get fulfilled on the quicker side.

Best of Luck,
“The Sundance Kid”

Ordered 1/11/21; ETA is 3/30/21

does anyone know how to add this info as part of my signature?

You add stuff through your signature

Bought our Glacial white pearl S (black interior) at sticker here in the Syracuse area. Dealer also gave me a good trade on my 2016 Focus ST. My parents bought a premium package EX at sticker about a year ago through the same dealer. I really wanted a Wolf gray Nightfall EX, but I couldn’t justify the few grand more as the Telluride will go to my wife in a year or two and I’ll get a Stinger (hopefully a GT).

Hello Long Islander's, I spent most of my life on Long Island before moving to main land America (NJ). Anyway I had a great experience with Sansone which is in Woodbridge, NJ which is just a few minutes from the Goethals Bridge. They allow you to place your order at MSRP and they only add a $599 Doc fee plus, Tags, Titles and taxes. I am waiting on my SXP which I ordered on 1/4. Failcat already shows my VIN is available. Just another option if you don't want to drive too far.

Let me preface this by saying I am a very patient guy. If you want to save money you must have a good mentality that you never need to buy a car, but dealers must always be selling cars.

I looked in the Pacific NW (as I live here). The Best I could get for an EX w/AWD (no nightfall or premium package), was $2k over sticker all the way up to $5k over sticker in the Amazon/Microsoft Seattle area.

I started looking to the south in California. The LA area has some volume dealerships and one offered $1500 over sticker, but that was as low as I could find.

I moved into the Rocky Mountain region and found a few dealers in Utah and Colorado that were around $1000 over sticker…

I discovered the north east of the country also well over MSRP, while the south was little bit lower and in some cases close to sticker.

The sweet spot seems to be straight up the Mississippi River.

I placed my down payment with Lawrence Kia of Kansas. I won’t give my exact price but I got over $1700 off the sticker! They were very easy to deal with, very simple pricing, no gimmicks, etc...

i’ve noticed another dealer in the Kansas City Missouri area is $1900 a sticker on their website.

It cost me about $900 to ship it to the Pacific Northwest, but I’m still saving about $1000 bucks under sticker at the end of the day. That’s a lot better than paying $2000 over sticker with a local dealer for no reason whatsoever.

Bottom line is they are easy to work with. I was their 38th person to order at that time (early February). They are clearly a volume dealership engaging in KIA’s stair-step program to get bonuseach month.

Trend: The last 3 to 4 weeks I've noticed inventory is starting to increase across the country… If dealers start having inventory over 30 days (meaning they will have to pay interest on those vehicles) dealerships prices are going to start coming down quickly as supply is catching up with demand.

For now, if dealers can keep getting at or above sticker price, that pure profit will pay for some of that inventory that’s accruing interest, but They hate to do that and would simply start having to move cars faster to avoid 30+ day inventory, which means lower prices.

Hope that helps!

Hello, if you don't mind me asking what company did you use for shipping as I am currently looking.
Thank you

It has not shipped yet, but I am using the dealer's shipper they use often when doing so (which is a fair amount). They get a corporate/volume deal if you will. I looked on my own initially, but RoadRunner was extremely high. Elite Auto Shipping was about the best I found. Still, the dealers contract with their shipper was about $200 less than the best quote I could find on my own.

Hope that helps!
