What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Kia financing was offering $500 off MSRP in March (if you finance through Kia). My advice to you is:
Get pre-approved with your favorite bank/CU, share your letter of approval with the dealership, then have them shop no more than 2 other banks in order to ensure the lowest rate for you without getting so many hits rhat your score goes down a few points.
Good luck!
I kept reading about $500 rebate with KMF if you go with their financing but I can’t find this info anywhere, including KIA.COM what am I missing? Attached is what I got from their web site.

I received the $500.00 rebate but I went from 1.9% to 2.25% to get the rebate. It was part of a KMF promotion at the time. The finance guy showed me the promotion page sent to them from Kia because i didn't believe the rebate should bump my APR.

So that rebate is no longer offered? 2.5% is still better than most banks or CU now.

I got the $500 rebate 2 weeks ago for 2.25% The 1.9% (without rebate) was also offered. Probably have to ask the dealer you are going through

Hi everyone. Any reason why my Kia dealership is asking me to fill out the online credit application? I was finally called that my car was in, But all they did was basically give me no info on picking it up, just asked me to fill out the credit application and hung up.
Do you have to finance thru Kia if you ordered your Telluride? What’s the catch here? This process has not been informative the whole way thru. Now I’m looking out for “the catch”. Any help/experiences appreciated.
Depends; if you show up with your own financing then I wouldn’t fill it out.
They don’t need that info; money talks

Their offers change monthly. They might have other incentives now or nothing... try BofA, they offered us 2.49 minus a relationship discount so long as the score is above 720.

Thx for the tip. Will look into if Kia’s financing is not available

Bought mine today, Kia Financing at 2.25% with $500 rebate, ended up $3 less a month than the 1.9% financing. That's at 60 months.

You must have put a decent amount down. Because at 60 months and at those rates with the $500 rebate you need to be financing about $25K or less to make that $3 difference. For me, I intend to finance the whole thing or everything net of government fees which makes the 1.99% a much cheaper option with those same terms above.

Anyway, congratulations!!

I was quoted the same. There was a 2 and 3 dollar difference depending on 60, 66 or 72. 3 dollars cheaper if I went 2.25 and a 500 rebate vs the 1.99.

Your math is tight, just over $23k financed with trade and money down. I've had the same payment for my last 6 vehicles, this is only the 2nd of those bought brand new.

That's how it worked out for me too...saved $2 a month. But we financed more than $25K. We will likely end up paying it early.

What has been the process when your order is in?
-get the call the car is ready
-

what’s your monthly payment?!! (These things are expensive...lol)
Put only $10k down out of the $51,300 plus $199 admin fee. At those numbers, taking the lower rate was better than the KMF $500 off. Pmts a but high ($666) but prefer that and keeping cash working at these rates :)

Thank you.

The dealer closest to me just offer 500 below MSRP for Costco, plus a 1248 doc fee.

I was like thanks for the discount off the b.s. mark up.

I honestly have 10 dealers in my immediate area. I'm going call all of them.
Does your state have a cap on its documentation fee? Look it up. If there is a cap, I'd call them out on that $1248 charge.

Youngblood Kia of Springfield MO is charging MSRP --they are using their allotment for customer orders. I was quoted 3 - 5 month, but looking closer to 7 weeks....

Chris Tate is my salesperson and he has been AWESOME!!

It does not. There other dealer offering MSRP and a lesser dealer. I'm using someone else.

This car has been out for almost 2 years now, demand has not let out one bit! The reason these dealerships get Away with it, is there are some people who actually are happy to shell out up to $10k just to get a car immediately. Don’t know if this car would ever sell for invoice but you can most definitely order for MSRP.
Best of luck!
I got mine at about invoice with promotions right after the Telluride was released. At the time not all dealers were negotiating and most were starting to add the dreaded “market adjustment“. It’s a nice vehicle but definitely worth paying over sticker for what some dealers are asking.
