However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

I test drove one today (EX model), they had 4 at the dealership I went to. They didnt seem to know of any promotions, I didnt feel like playing that game and said like me know when you can take 5-6k of the sticker. Dont think Ill be getting a call anytime soo.

Unfortunately you are very off base. The dealer cost for a telluride vs msrp doesn't have anywhere near 5-6k in markup. Not to mention there is such a short supply most dealers will up the price and have no need to negotiate.
Southwest Kia Dealership Sales person.

FYI... Just sharing... We passed on the Telluride, but here the a quote from City Kia of Orlando:

"So I spoke with management and received the final numbers on the price for the S Telluride. With $1,000 down you're looking at $46,915.81 and without $1,000 down it'll be $47,915.81."

They include almost 2,000 for a dealer add-on that is worthless... Plus a "market" bump I guess due to supply and demand.

So that is nearly 48K for a S... tax, tag, fees, etc... so OTD.

I told her her price was "insanely high."

Seeing a whole lot more SX inventory in the Atlanta area. 31 currently and it was like that last week as well. Little early to know but maybe theyre turning the corner. Ill never do business with one local dealer because of their ridiculous antics.

Lol you quoted my very old post. I ended up leasing from a much better dealership. The tellurides weren’t in super high demand the first few weeks when hit anyways.

Finally pulled the trigger today and bought my SX. It is FWD with towing package. I put down $500 to hold it for 2 days until I could get to the dealership. I received $1900 in incentives (400 military, 1500 finance). They did not mark it up, although they did put a pulse third brake light in , when told them i did not want the pulse they acted like it was mandatory. I did not feel like arguing and just chalked it up as a $400 premium. All said and done I payed 44,000 before taxes and fees. Many dealerships around the area are charging 5,000-10,000 markup for a "market adjustment".

How do you know the local inventory in ones area? Curious

Finalized my sale today!! FWD S
PAID (out the door): $37,750
Accessories added: tow hitch w/ harness, rear view mirror, carpet floor mats, mud flaps

The deal: $1600 of MSRP due to TrueCar.com. I also had my own financing that I dropped on the dealer at the last second.

BEWARE: watch out for all the crazy fees out there. Even if ur dealer won’t discount the MSRP, shopping around for different dealer fees can save you thousands!!!

I live in the Tri-state area and I was told by at least 5 other dealers that they wouldn’t discount the MSRP or add any accessories so I feel like I did good.

Which trim level did you buy?

Wondering about expectations for price off msrp—my dealer is now taking orders but will only do it for msrp. Any ideas about negotiating price or expected rebates/incentives? Are other Kia models discounted much?

I just canceled my Telluride order. There are plenty Palisade available with everything the Prestige offers. Since i live in south Florida, i don't need AWD. 3 months in with no end in sight is rediculous. Please don't follow me to the other side, i want more to choose from.

There doesn't seem to be an end in sight if you just want to find one currently in stock. In northern Virginia there are only 7 EX all-wheel drives available and SX are all selling 5k over MSRP.

Getting turned down when walking in a dealership willing to pay MSRP for a Kia is a freaking joke.

There are many "tri state area"s in the US..could you add your location to your avatar or at least say what tri state area you are in so prospecting buyers may know...Thank you.

Took delivery of my SXP after a 3.5 month wait.

Got:
MSRP minus:
1500 finance incentive
1000 competitive incentive (still honored by kia if you placed your order prior to July 8th, the end of the promotion)
700 off due to mix up on the interior of my order.

43550 before tax, title, tags.

Was this AWD or FWD? I ordered my SX AWD two weeks ago and they told me they couldn’t give me a price at all. I’m worried it’s going to be higher than the online build price (before ttt)

It's a Prestige, so it must be AWD

Ok I thought so, but I didn’t get the prestige. If I could get your deal I’d be thrilled! I ordered from two dealerships without putting down a deposit and will see who can give the better deal but I think it’d going to take awhile for the car to even come in.

Did your dealership push back on the competitive incentive because the promotion ended?
