If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

With the 1.9, you don't get the 1500, you have to go at least 2.9 up to 60 to get the 1500
Man, these dealers need to get their shit together. I specifically asked this and they said any Kia Financing qualified. This whole thing has been a horrible experience. I don't think Kia is even capable of selling a higher end $50k SUV. None of the dealers I have dealt with even know shit about the vehicle.

1700 under sticker for an sx prestige in Sheboygan Wisconsin. They still have one, said they’d honor that price for it or new orders. Rob is the manager I spoke to.

Do you have contact info? I live in Iowa but I'd make that drive to save that much if they would order one for me.

Dick Brantmeier Kia in Sheboygan wi, ask for Rob. I don’t have the number handy but should be easy to google. Best wishes.

Was this before any incentives do you know?

Correct, discounts from Kia incentives were in addition to this discount

I was wrong on this, you can get the 1500 and 1.9% but only for 48 months, if you want to go 60 months and get the 1500, then you need to go 2.9%

I’m in Temecula, CA (north of San Diego), and the local dealer is selling at MSRP at this time. I said no thanks. Overall, I’m impressed with the SX Prestige features as I compare it to my 2018 BMW X3 M40i. I know, not a fair comparison, but for what’s its worth. There are more safety features in the Telluride, it’s as quiet, seats are more comfortable, more room, and power is adequate. Steering felt positive, and not numb. No noticeable oversteer or understeer, and turning radius was amazing for the size of this vehicle. Shifting was a bit sluggish and slow in comfort mode, but faster and more positive in sport. Visibility all around very good, fit and finish good, and I like the “truck like” styling. I may sell my BMW and buy one when dealers are ready to deal.

Currently $2900 is pretty much the biggest discount you'll see. However, the Telluride JUST hit the market. Patience people. Look at the Stinger, for example. A simple AutoTrader search yields a TON of Stingers currently over 25% off MSRP. This will happen with the Telluride in time. Wait it out, and get a fully loaded 49k MSRP Telluride for $36,750 or less. Patience is key.

Hmmm that’s encouraging because I’m in no rush. What do you think will Palisade do to the market, by the time it comes out Telluride will probably go down price wise, but then pretty much the same car you’ll have to wait for it’s discounts to happen.

I think the Palisade will cause a discount with the Telluride, but not 25%. For the discount to get to 25% it'll be awhile, I'd assume. Probably late Fall or so. We will see, I'll be watching pricing and contacting dealers over the next few months. I will be giving the dealers MY price. I will basically say, I want this car, with these features, and I am willing to pay this. That's it. Until one bites, I'll be waiting.

I’m all about the patience. I have no problem haggling, email blitzing, talking about holdbacks, and waiting for prices to lower. I refuse to get ripped off, and I know prices and discounts on everything. I’m not above lowballing or walking away if I don’t like a deal.

But there is NO WAY a NEW, CURRENT MODEL YEAR Telluride SX Prestige retailing for 49K is going to be sold for $36,750 now, in the future, in any country, or on any planet (adjusting for international/interplanetary currency rates, of course).

I think 42 is possible. 40-41 if the car turns out to be a colossal dud (which it’s not going to be). 36? I don’t think new ‘73 Pintos were discounted that much (adjusting for inflation) after they found out about the exploding engines.

I am only going off of what I see with the Stingers. The biggest discounts are on 2018 models. But even 2019 models (current year model) are 9k off max. 43.5k MSRP going for 33.5k (22% off). I realize cars typically are discounted more than SUVs. But still, those are deep discounts. Even a 20% discount would but it under 40k for a fully loaded Telluride.

I think in the short term about $3k off on SX is about as good as you can get. They can't keep them on the lots. Now when supply evens out...maybe your up to about $5k but never huge cuts.

You mean, they offer $3k except for Kia's incentives?
