What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Yes I did contact two of them, a dealer dropped his phone number which I'm still in contact with and Kevin from Huffines, who said he already placed the order, sent me the confirmation page, but it didn't state/breakdown the details of the charges and all that. I will contact him right away and ask for these things you stated up here. Same goes to the other contact I have.
Attached is the confirmation I got from Kevin.

Huffines is straightforward - they provided you a screenshot from the kdealer screen - reflecting your order at $48,145 MSRP. You can ask for a Buyer's Order or something like that if you are curious of the rest of the charges - you should just to confirm that their added fees are reasonable. They have not been adding a market adjustment or requiring dealer adds such as warranties or paint protection.

So, here's an expected breakdown for Huffines (the $353 total of fees was on my buyers order with them):
$48,145 negotiated price of vehicle
$3,009 Texas State Sales Tax (6.25%)
$153 government fees
$200 dealer documentation fee (doc fee)
----
$51,507 OTD price.

If you have a trade, you can reduce the tax liability with that, but your downpayment of $8-10k will leave you with $41,500 - $43,500 to finance.
There is one current finance incentive with Kia motors - a $1000 rebate (but you might not qualify for that based on your credit score - you mentioned previously).
You should work to find financing from a local credit union - as you may not get the best rate with KMF or at the dealer. Check with Huffines to get pre-approved closer to the delivery date of your vehicle - not right now.

Some dealers have really high doc fees - but Huffines has been very good as I mentioned above. Still, you should confirm.

That was quite an insight and quite detailing. Now I do have an idea what my OTD would look like and I can work towards it. I am still expecting a response from Kevin though.
Thanks, I do appreciate your swift response.

This is fresh news from my personal experience on Wednesday 9/18/2019.

While I really wanted to pay all cash, the $1000 rebate/incentive was enough to make me partially finance. You MUST finance at least $10,000 to be eligible for the rebate/incentive; the balance can be a downpayment. I went with 24 months @ 2.9%, and I will literally make 3 payments then pay off the entire remaining principal immediately thereafter. The 3 months of payments is the minimum such that Kia does not claw back the $1000 rebate/incentive from the dealer. The loan is simple interest with NO front-end setup costs.

My Telluride was ordered about 3.5 months ago from Myrtle Beach Kia and was priced exactly at MSRP, minus the $1000 rebate/incentive.

The specifics:

Telluride SX, AWD
Color - Everlasting Silver
Options - Tow Hitch with Harness, Cross Bars, Mudguard Kit (Front & Rear), Cargo Mat, Cargo Cover, and Carpeted Floor Mats.

Those expecting to negotiate a $4-6K discount from MSRP on a Telluride will be waiting a while (IMO). Obviously, that may eventually happen, but right now the vehicle is simply in HIGH demand. Several of the dealerships I visited simply refused to even order a Telluride for me ...... saying simply 'the order counts towards our quota and we will can sell it locally faster for more profit'. IOW, there is really no incentive for the dealership to work with you to take an order when it's working against their bottom line to do so.

Ordered a gray on gray sx awd with wheel locks and interior lighting. Msrp 45,095. Order price 43,885. Hopefully there are some incentives when I go to sign. The wait for me begins.

You are very correct with the price detail you gave, and here is the buyer's order I was given which I think make sense. Document fee was reduced, government fee was increased and attached is the paperwork for the buyer's order.
He said This is just an estimation and will change once the Telluride actually gets delivered but it is fair enough to know what to expected and what is needed/required to work towards.
Thanks for being helpful in this process, I do appreciate.

You are welcome - but I'd suggest you get them to take off that $789 VIP package... unless it has some value to you.

Just got an E-mail from my dealer with my VIN number and that it is coming earlier than expected! Ordered it on 8-15 and they now say it will be ready for pick up the first week of October. David at Napleton Kia of Elgin was super easy to deal with and have been very good about emailing me updates. Now I will see if they actually honor the 0% for 72 months they offered when I ordered and put down the deposit/signed papers. Hearing no one else offered that deal I think it will be wishful thinking.

Still SUPER pumped to get my SX in Everlasting Silver with tow package/cross bars/all weather mats.

I am going to pay off my loan shortly after we receive the Telluride. I'm financing strictly for the rebate.
Ya know what? I never asked them when I should expect delivery. It doesn't seem like anyone has a clue as to how production in Georgia works anyway. I wouldn't hold them to October 15 because they truly have no idea. It could be sooner or later.
Make sure that you let me know when you do take delivery.

Did you get an update from them on your Telluride? I just got my VIN and they actually moved up my delivery date to the 1st week of October! I am shocked.

Let me show you what the VIP package is, I guess it kinda worth it, seem like it. But he said they reccomend and offer the package which means it is not mandatory to have it included.
I went further asking if their office offer any additional add-ons, the answer "was absolutely not"

Congratulations! I'm excited for you!
I haven't heard a peepπŸ˜•
I read that someone else is getting their Telluride earlier than expected. Is KIA ramping up production? Probably wishful thinking on my part.

I reached out to them a month after I ordered to make sure the date they first gave me was still looking good. Kind of my way to check up on them/the car. They did respond quickly confirming that the date was still the same. Maybe give that a try.

Good advice. I'll give them a buzz when I'm at the one month mark. Thanks:)

I see. Yes, it could have some value depending on your parking situation. If you park outside uncovered most of the time, then the paint protection aspects could be good. You should find out about the details of the Limited Lifetime Warranty and the Windshield Repair - I presume that doesn't include replacement. Anyway, if it provides value to you, then it may be ok! Now the wait begins...

Absolutely, the wait begins and everyday, I see myself in my new car yet to come..πŸ˜€ but it will also give me the opportunity to get more money for the downpayment....maybe 15k by then.😏
I will surely ask for the specifics and details about those aforementioned. Will surely apprise you once I get the details.
Thanks.
