What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

I just went to a dealer in Austin TX. I want a SX prestige. They said because of market adjustments the price was 58k. I realize it is a popular vehicle and even willing to pay a tad over MSRP but this seems like price gauging and is turning me off from the brand. Can a dealer help me here?

i called or visited nearly every dealership in southwest and east michigan.
good dealerships: elhart- marcel (holland), seelye - ali (battle creek), and summit place east - jonathan (clinton township)
bad dealerships: seelye (kalamazoo), glassman (southfield), taylor (toledo, ohio) all charging above msrp ($2000-7000)

had refundable $500 deposits down on SXP at both seelye battle creek and summit place east for allocations coming in the next few months but ended up getting lucky with someone who decided not to buy an SXP from elhart so got a call from marcel when that deal fell through

I don’t know why but its a nightmare purchase a car here in Austin... I always get way better deals on Dallas no metter the brand...

I purchased mine from Fox Kia in Grand Rapids - Ordered it for $1000 under MSRP. Full MSRP for Tellurides on the lot. SX took 13 weeks.

I like this strategy. Only I’m gonna tell them 6K under invoice.

Actually my real strategy is to wait a few months until real discounts (and the Palisade, which I’m also seriously considering) appear. Then I’m gonna search Auto Trader/Car Gurus for the lowest price in the country and ask a local dealer to beat the price.

My goal is 41K max for an SX Prestige (hey, that’s 6K under sticker!), maybe 42.5 for whatever the all-in Palisade is.

41k for a sxp? Good luck with that......?

Mine was ordered this past Friday, Jan 17th. They told me to expect delivery in mid March. Got the S model, no trailer hitch. OTD price with taxes, tag and everything was about $ 39,800.

Try Royal Kia in Tucson. When calling around for an SX I spoke to TJ and he reported that they sell and order at MSRP.

I’m not a dealer but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night… I digress. Anyway, I recently owned a Kia Optima and was very interested in Telluride only to get the same line you received. I went with a Mazda as a result because of the gauging aspect due to “ market demand”.
