If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Black interior looks so nice though.

Sure does. I also like how you used your cup holders :)

We just got our Dark Moss EX with Premium package yesterday for MSRP plus $898 “make ready”, but then got a $500 rebate so really only $400 over MSRP. Got extended warranty thrown in for free so all good.

Which company is covering your extended warranty?

💁🏽‍♂️ My paddle holster isnt the most comfortable whilst driving but I love it.
Haha well it seems to fit in Kia's cup holders. Kia should be impressed with the versatility of its cup holders. Nice pew pew as well :)

Hey congrats! I ended up doing the same at Kia of Carson. It was only a few hundred more than paying MSRP and shipping costs from other dealers and I had a more pressing need for a new vehicle so I just went for it (Probably the solo one because the other one had a tow hitch if I remember correctly).
I think I saw your Telluride when I went to pick out mine! It had to be one of these.View attachment 13696
I called a guy at Kia of Carson on Friday and he said $5k above msrp for SX. 😩

It is curious why people pay ADM (Additional Dealer Markup). I mean just wait, these vehicles are not cars that will keep their value. Sure currently they are hot and people are selling them used for MSRP, thus perhaps losing ADM if they paid it. If the next Kia Telluride is available via hybrid then that may slow the secondary market for those in favor of hybrid. For me, if I am told something different than MSRP at pickup (could be six months) then I walk and have enough in savings for a new Corvette. Let me see buy a Kia Telluride or sacrifice for an MSRP Corvette C8. That my friend is a tough decision.

I can only think of 3 reasons:
  1. The buyer doesn’t have the will power like you to walk or wait for an order.
  2. Five to ten thousand dollars of ADM is pocket change for the buyer, and does not make a difference to them if they were to literally throw that money into the garbage.
  3. The buyer did not go to the dealership informed with knowledge that the car could be even bought for MSRP. Or they dealt with a greedy car salesman that didn’t want to inform the buyer the car can be had for MRSP if ordered. (some dealers are even telling buyers orders are not possible, or not possible without ADM)

i paid ADM. But I also paid under MSRP. My takeaway was that dealers are ranked (or rank themselves) by ADM. It was a wash for me at the end. I objected to dealer fees. They agreed to $1250 off MSRP and I paid their fees.

What matters in the end is how much you pay out of pocket, not all the math games.

No idea what you mean by having enough to buy a corvette.

People who are looking for a 7-8 passenger SUV... are not cross shopping a C8. What do I know, maybe they are, just shove the kids in the front and the dog in the back.
