• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What Does the Telluride have that the Palisade Doesn’t?

🤖 AI Summary

We ended up with a Palisade Limited. I'd prefer a traditional gearshift over the pushbutton selector on the Palisade, and I would love to have folding mirrors but our local Kia dealer absolutely SUCKS. We have a Sedona and I've had to deal with them for 3 years and I swore I would never buy a car from them. So that left the Palisade. After 5000 miles I don't have any regrets, and the Hyundai dealer actually seems to care for their customers. I find that I do use the keyfob remote start quite a bit now that colder weather is here so I would have missed that if we had bought the Telluride. I know I could use the remote app but the keyfob literally takes just a few seconds to start the car.

*Edit* - Forgot to mention I really prefer the Palisade digital dash. I can squint when I approach my car to avoid looking at the grill, but it's a little harder to avoid looking at the dash when driving. I can't for the life of me understand why Hyundai put folding mirrors on all the Palisade except the US spec units. No doubt they will show up in the next refresh, but jeez that was a bonehead decision.

I wonder if the electronics of the remote start and key fob from Hyundai could be installed and programmed to work with a Telluride. It's not a deal break but damn I would love to have remote start on my fob and I'm still beyond stumped it doesn't have that feature at $50k

Not sure, but if it works the same as other OEM remote start without "takeover" function (which is most likely).... that would be a non-starter for me.

There are quite a few alternatives for aftermarket remote start that utilizes the OEM key fob w/ "takeover" function.
And some have the bundled hardware/app based subscription as well (e.g. Drone Mobile, Viper SmartStart); and significantly costs less than the UVO subscription.

This is the most likey route that I'll go next year when my UVO subscription expires.

I just got Telluride over Palisade

I can only speak for LX models basic Trim. Palisade basic trim is missing Telluride has leather, push to start, more room, power mirrors, turn signal in side mirrors.

Yup,the Telluride looks sharp and badass to me.Not much of a Palisade exterior fan compared the Telluride

The LX and S have imitation leather- Sofino Synthetic Leather Seat Trim

I thought the same thing... not Hyundai's brightest idea...
If that is your worry you have an old antiquated phone. You really need to learn more about wireless charging pads. Neve had an issue with cold drinks and I live in Florida. Palisade Limited all the way....much more luxurious appearance.

Why are you replying to a June post? Yeah, anonymous poster, Palisade is nice. Enjoy it.
