• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telluride Founder's Club

For me, 2 free years of all access SiriusXM has way more value. I listen to everything on SiriusXM. Music, talk, sports, etc... And my first payment is only gonna be like $200... So Id take the SiriusXM. That being said, my build date is the end of April, so I'll likely miss out anyways, but hopefully I'll hit the bigger discounts/rebates!

Confirmed for me, just got email from Kia. First months payment up to $750 free or 2 years SeriousXM free. Email also stated it applies to leases too.

Got my email this morning! I'll take the paid first payment over the Sirius. That's what I have Apple Music and Podcasts for. Wondering if they really pay it, or they just start your payments a month later. Regardless, can't ask for much more considering all we did was put our email in a text box.

I have a scheduled test drive tonight, will report back on my thoughts in a separate thread.

There is nothing stopping you from negotiating on top of the Founders Club promotions. I think some people just want something for nothing. Name one other manufacturer that is even launching vehicles this way. It's innovative and good will.

Innovation in harvesting data for leads, not much else.

Subaru’s VIP discount is available on all their models from launch other than a few special edition sports car models and it offers cars at 2% under invoice no haggle. They’ve been running it for over a decade.

That’s truly good will and it actually helps the clubs that offer it. You can get it for as little as a $25 annual club membership .

Would you please just go buy your Subaru already?

I bought a Toyota last time at invoice rather than a Subaru or Mazda. It’s not really a big deal to negotiate any of the major brands down even around launch. It wasn’t a problem for the top of the line CX9 in 2016 even.

Early adopters are paying to be beta testers, you should know better - it’s job one chaos.

Everyone is launching new 3 rows this year too, there’s no good reason to jump to conclusions before the dust settles.

I didn't have to pay to get my first month paid nor did I have to wait 6 months to use the benefit. We looked at an Ascent at two different dealers and neither one would budge from MSRP on a touring trim. One literally told me, "Subies sell themselves, if I wait, I'll sell for more than MSRP when someone comes in with some negative equity on a trade." I'm just glad that Kia decided to put some promotions out and offer rebates out the door as we have been waiting to move from our Buick to a Kia since we bought our Stinger.

Only some clubs have a 6 month wait, others are instant and a quick search will clear that up for you. And you get a choice two dealerships in your area that must honor the VIP as part of their agreement with Subaru before you even visit them.

My local dealership participates and is right next to the Toyota my RAV4 is serviced at - same auto group.

In 2016 Toyota and Mazda dealership I got invoice on for first year model (CX9 - first visit) and edition (RAV4 Hybrid - second visit) less than 5 mi apart. CX9 they tried to play some hardball game but ultimately I got them down right where I was guessing I’d be, brand new model or not.

Does anyone have info on what specials might be included with this Club? Or how exactly to sign up? All I see on Kia's site is that you can give them your contact info, and just wait I guess! Have any of their other cars had similar clubs? If so, what were those specials? Thanks all!

Got an email this week offering first month’s payment up to $750 or 2yrs of SiriusXM

I negotiated first and didn't bring out my offer code until I had to sign the papers with the finance guy. Finance guy told me it doens't come out of the dealer's pocket, it comes directly from Kia, so they were happy to oblige but i still didn't let them know about it until after a price was agreed upon. A free payment is a free payment!

Sounds logical to me. Some sales people might be less willing to give discounts if you're already getting discounts...

This is what they sent me

Hi! So should I have received this email already? Thanks for reminding me I signed up for Founders Club! i got the initial email and checked spam.

I test drove the EX AWD last weekend and think im going to get it. It's telluride vs. the Subaru Ascent Limited w/moonroof pkg. want 8-pass, not 7. They just didn't have the black/black i wanted, so we will see if it comes in. Telluride ride seemed a bit better handling, quieter and more comfortable (1.5 hr commuter), so I know i'll be giving up some features vs. the ascent limited (dual moon roof, 2nd row heated seats, harmon kardon speakers, 4G Wifi). So, i'm torn!

The Founders Club seems to be some kind of irritating joke. I have contacted several dealers so I can TEST DRIVE a SX. No one has them. Then once that happens, what is the chance of me finding one the way I want? Color, Prestige package and tow package? (I haven't heard of any with the tow package). I then must order one to get what I want. Which means I won't get it in time to qualify for the Founders Club. "Must take delivery from a participating dealer and from retail stock from 3‌/4/2‌019 to 4‌/30/‌2019." What is the point of the Founders Club if they have no inventory????

Totally agree. It's a joke.
