If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Bad Dealer Dealings - List Your Bad Dealer Experience

Hey man no offense, but all you have done is criticize a decision that cannot be undone and offered no support. Clearly there is nothing I can do and you think my decision is dumb.. You've made that clear. I hope you feel fulfilled in letting me know what a poor decision I've made. Meanwhile Stephen has gone out of his way to help remedy the issue and actually assisted in providing me with valuable information.
I realize how annoying it may have sounded when all you wanted is good news. But @Jason Fox is super experienced in this area, was only trying to help, and has helped countless people on the forum. This is not meant to shill, just pointing out that you may have misunderstood the intention.

How do you know the dealers aren’t affiliated? Three of the Kia dealers here in Phoenix are owned by the same company but have different names.

If that isn’t the address of the dealer in the window sticker then the vin they gave you is most likely off a digit

I just wanted information to be honest. I get he has helped others, and I'm not attacking him, merely pointing out how this

When I was there he said they were connected to the Santa Ana location and he could only look up stock for those 2 dealerships.

Oh wow 🤦🏻‍♂️........ ask to speak with manager to ensure it is coming to your store.. I can take a guess and say it got redirected to another store but that makes zero sense... as your dealer will go Berserk on your behalf... and this my friends who have followed me is why I can’t help track cars down anymore.. sad...

But the vehicle is paid for. Everything should be good.

You can look up the vin on the spreadsheet by @Michelw and it shows it was produced to go to Kia Irvine...

from there I can’t say.. this is crazy

technically speaking he hasn’t taken “delivery of the Telluride” so even with all papers signed it doesn’t mean anything.. at least that how it works in Texas..

Total dunce here, but is it possible that it's a dealer swap?

Only thing I can think of.. maybe they committed on swapping Tellurides and quite possible if store has lack of communication within itself could have not kept track.

I just called and asked to speak with a manager, he said he couldn't get the kia website to load and would have to call me in the morning. This seems ridiculous to me...

Technically speaking he can argue he has paperwork done already and a signed contract and can just pick it up from the other dealer

Boy that's a load of crap! Should've asked him to use his phone. If he's being cagey tomorrow, make your way to the dealership.
