• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... GAS MILEAGE

Sadly I just hit 10k on my 3 month old SXP, averaging 25.8 which rocks considering the stop and go traffic I get into every day.

That’s a real nice MPG average...sorry to hear you’ve used up 10% of your warranty...ever heard of Uber?? 🚙🙄

Am also getting 24-25 mpg on average. Not bad for a car/Vehicle that can haul your ass ( and a few others) around in some luxury and safety. I have had my Black on Black SXP/AWD about 2 months...so far...I love it, as does other members of my family, neighbors, and walk-bys who ask me questions. Many are going to the dealer to test drive one with possible purchase. Many PROS on it with only a few CONS.

EX AWD - first fill-up - 25.7 mpg for 370 non-freeway miles. Drove in Comfort mode. Going to try ECO until my next fill-up.
Color me happy :)
Mine didn't even give me 15 mpg in town. I have an S AWD driving in eco mode.

I THINK high mpg average IS possible , given certain ...driving considerations , etc. butttttt, my results are more in the 22-24 average , which I thinkg is pretty good!

I have been getting about 23 mpg on winter tires.

Mileage is determined by the load, terrain, weather, altitude and the way someone drives... not by the equipment you buy. We all drive differently and different environment as well as other drivers in the family. Age of the drivers are a consideration too. When I was 17... I discovered every gear in my 4 speed Chevelle SS...and I didn't care about this thing called MILEAGE... only speed and how fast to get there.. Now in my 70s... an occasional trip down that lane. My SXP/AWD/Tow T-Ride offers me the comfort and luxury I now enjoy. If you want a HOT ROD... I was looking at a Mustang, GT350...tons of HP but close to $70K. Or..if yer pocket has holes in it.... ZO6 Corvette that easily hit well into the 6 figures... Hmmm wonder if owning one of these gives thought to mileage...???

So far, I am the only one driving my T-Ride. My wife is reluctant and I am happy for that.. She has crappy driving habits.... ( one foot on the gas and one on the brake... I remember when we got married... she would kill my clutch on my stick cars... was always underneath replacing clutch and throw outs.) I manage between 20 and 24 mpg over all in my T-Ride. If mileage is your main concern...buy a damned "electric roller- skate they have now.. Buy what you want but look at it first to find your priorities... Right now... I find Late 70's early 80's and then around 2000 was the highest we paid for gas in comparison to present dollars. So quit bitching and just drive.

With the same OEM tires, I was getting 25-26mpg during summer and 22-23 now for highway driving traveling to Boston. I must say the 3mpg difference here is mostly due to winter vs. summer blend.

I have a 2020 SX AWD and drove from Plano TX to Austin TX about 250 miles today and I was able to get 25.2 MPG in Eco Mode and at 70-90mph

SXP-AWD, drove off the lot in Indiana straight to Florida. Averaged 25.5mpg on that 800 mile trip.
We just clicked 1,500 miles and have been averaging 23-24 around northeast Florida thus far.

Gas mileage? I’ve driven 1300 miles and it’s Shitty! I live at the gas station, never had to fill up this much with my BMWs. Again it’s real shitty

what kind of numbers are you getting?

According to the display, getting about 16 which is bothersome. SX AWD, 500 miles. Next time I fill up I'm going to do this the manual paper way and see if the display is adding up right. Anyone else seeing low MPGs?
Mine was very low, even in ECO mode, for the first 500 miles. Then it skyrocketed... I do mainly city driving with lots of traffic and am averaging 22.3. Now, I have 1800 miles which includes 2 long highway trips, and on those I averaged 28-29.
