• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Kia Telluride US production stats. by trim and colors

This is awesome OP! So you're telling me there's only 136 non-tow Ebony Black Prestige SX's o_O. No wonder I had such a difficult time. I can't wait to see how many Dune Brown interiors fall into this category as well! Also, what's up with all the FWD S models? Is that what they thought people would buy?

This is awesome, thanks! One note - I think you may be missing some VINs or something, as there is at least one Telluride SX AWD (non-Prestige) produced with Dark Moss exterior on Espresso Brown interior, which someone posted a video review of on YouTube (an American buyer). I'd love to get that guys' VIN number! Here's his video:

Good catch. I found my error with that trim color combination. I will create a new updated chart tomorrow including the latest VINs.

There are 5 Telluride SX AWD (non-Prestige) produced with Dark Moss exterior on Espresso Brown interior with towing and 6 without towing.

Have written a small computer application that generates valid Telluride VINs and then calls the Kia "windowsticker" URL to retrieve a windows sticker PDF file. From this PDF file I am able to retrieve all of the trim/color information for the Telluride including dealer address, exterior color, interior color, prestige package and towing package.

All of this data is then written to a small SQLite database in which I can query all of the information that I need.

As of 2019/06/17, here is the complete rundown of the trim/color combinations for the Telluride:

The most produced color: Ebony Black (4724)
The most produced trim: S FWD (5354)
FWD vs AWD: 49.5% vs 50.5%

This is awesome work.
Can you please check where you are picking the interior color information from ? If it is the 1st table in the PDF then it may be wrong ?
This is because i chose a dune brown interior and it shows up in the 1st table as black but shows up in the additional equipment installed section ...

As an owner of a FWD S, my 2c: this competes in two markets SUV and minivan. I was considering a Sedona/Sienna/Odyssey for more money; the Telluride S FWD was clearly a better value. I did not find another reasonably priced mid-sized 3-row SUV with captains chairs that could compare to the "S" (not even close unless I went up the SX pricing and at that point the Telluride SX still wins). IMHO a middle row bench makes the third row less accessible no matter how easy you make it slide. With captains chairs the third row is more practical for my family’s everyday use. (Think carpool and younger kids easily climbing in and out with backpacks) Many third rows on mid-sized SUVs are uncomfortable and most only have 2 seats. I would have been happy with an SX but the fancy stuff and added cost would have been lost value to my family. Early marketing indicated that there would only be three trims (LX,EX, and SX) and from what I read the S was an afterthought. I’m happy they added it because the Palisade only offers 7 passengers in the top trim. Kia must have seen this coming and it looks like they are competing with other midsized SUVs, luxury SUVs with the EX/SX then minivans and lower priced value SUVs with the LX/S. I personally don’t see a benefit for AWD as FWD would handle all my driving conditions and there is some possibility that on the few occasions a year that I do drive in packed snow on the highway a FWD might do better. Plus I would rather have less weight and more MPGs over added cost and AWD that I might never need.

I don't see any combination of SX-P AWD moss green with dune interior, does this mean they haven't produced a single car of that spec?

I just received my VIN, expected delivery mid-July... Last VIN serial: 29179, so mine should be included in the (69) SX/P Moss with Dune and TWG. I wasn't sure if my order would happen, but it looks like we're in! Concerned if incentives ending June will extend when we contract in July, but time will tell... Great sheet, thank you for making it!

I have updated my chart with the butterscotch and dune brown interior colors. I have also updated this chart with the latest US Telluride windows sticker as of 2019/06/18.

The last VIN serial number from this chart is 29786.

Enjoy.

Thank you for this!

So 99 ebony black with Dune Brown in the country. I’m 1/99! Where’s the rest of my 98 brothers and sisters? :D

I have a Black Copper with Black Prestige on order... there have only been 30 total so far according to that chart. I am never going to get my order at that rate.

so only 62 are of SX-P AWD moss green with dune interior, I would not get until forever. 😕

Be patient, it’ll come. Mine just got to my dealer yesterday. It’s been grueling 3 months though!

Michelw, awesome analysis! I’m very surprised that we’re so few Black Copper made. No wonder why it’s been such a long wait. Thanks for putting this together.

Ordered SXP with Black Copper / Dune Brown in early-May. Dealer first told me late-June. Now early-July. Stopped in last night and it sounds like it's anyone's guess, but they are hopeful.

Deep soothing breaths. Deep soothing breaths.

WOW. my combo is one of only 45(so far). cool.

It was a long wait but my Black Copper Dune Brown is finally here. I went to do paperwork last night and took some photos in cloudy weather so you can’t really see any of the copper.
