Kia Telluride US production stats. by trim and colors

Here are the last 5 VINs with prestige package from Omaha NE Kia (as of july 13, 2019 the last VIN serial number is 33214). The VIN with the 29173 serial number (dark moss/Dune brown) got generated around June 15, 2019 but I have no information if that Telluride actually got produced or not and what is the status of that VIN.

So what does the T in towing category stand for? My order did not have tow package added.

T stands for True and F stands for False.

Thanks sooo much for this info. Helps not feel like in the dark. I will check with my dealer how many Moss/dune were placed to verify if maybe this could be my order.

Ditto. Mine is scheduled to deliver on Aug 5th. It’s moved up by 2 days, but I’m not complaining. Better than being pushed back like so many others are. Orders April 7th. Time for the vehicle.

I essentially wrote a small computer application that gathers this information from the VIN windows sticker web page. See my first post on how I have done this.

Since I am from Canada, my initial plan was to gather this information from Canadian Telluride, but there was no way to retrieve the VIN window sticker for Canadian models. I only found how to do this for American VINs.

Yes I can do a breakdown by state but I need to know what type of information/stats your are looking for ? I can simply display how many VINs were generated for each states ? Or I can display how many VINs were generated by state and by models (S V6 FWD, EX V6 AWD, SX V6 AWD for example) ?

If I break it down by state/model/exterior color/interior color the list will be simply too long.

As of today (2019/07/22) the last VIN serial number is 34959 (5XYP3DHC3LG034959).

Have written a small computer application that generates valid Telluride VINs and then calls the Kia "windowsticker" URL to retrieve a windows sticker PDF file. From this PDF file I am able to retrieve all of the trim/color information for the Telluride including dealer address, exterior color, interior color, prestige package and towing package.

All of this data is then written to a small SQLite database in which I can query all of the information that I need.

As of 2019/06/17, here is the complete rundown of the trim/color combinations for the Telluride:

The most produced color: Ebony Black (4724)
The most produced trim: S FWD (5354)
FWD vs AWD: 49.5% vs 50.5%
