So it looks like my ETA has slipped for some reason. But now that I have VIN - it is less stressful.

I certainly know what you mean. Having the VIN means it’s coming.

So is it a delay in Production completed that has pushed out all the other dates?

It will be interesting to see if I get my VIN this week and if my dates get pushed too.

Yeah - when @StephenCantrelle called me - he didn't have much information other than in the final stages the ETA jumps around a bunch. It has been built...just waiting for that last screw to be put in, test driven and put on a truck.

My VIN showed up on failcat Sunday evening. My ETA was 2 days behind your ETA but it slipped a couple of days this morning but is now three days ahead of your ETA?

Five days for a delivery from Georgia to DFW is about three days more than it actually is, according to my salesman. I would bet that your vehicle will be on the same truck as mine.

If my ETA holds at 16 Oct, it will have been 258 days from the order!!

Van Griffith in Granbury. They had a used EX that they let me take home from late Saturday to early Monday. Moritz Kia in Fort Worth also had a used one but wouldn't let me take it over the weekend so I went with Van Griffith.

Wait they had used EX models over 258 days ago?

Both of them had a used EX in January 2020, yes. Said they had to have something for people to test drive. I guess they could have been an LX or S, too long ago to remember.

About that same time I saw a used EX (same here could have been an LX or S) at a Honda dealership (Churchill Honda I think is the name of the place) in west Fort Worth.

Seems like EX because that was what I was thinking about getting at the time.

Dawn is who took over my account when the salesguy I first dealt with left the company. Dawn has been great, checking my status almost on daily basis lately. I didn't realize she was the owner, I thought she was the sales manager.

She is very humble and down to earth very similar to my store owner.. very hands on.. she won’t ever tell you she is owner.
