• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order In + A Couple Questions

after trying 2 carlinkit 3.0 adapters (both constantly rebooting/disconnecting) we are giving the ottocast a try...received it last night...connected it last night...worked good on her morning commute today...hopefully it continues to work...i have read that customer service is good...the update website has a complaint form you can fill out and they will contact you if you have any issues...i tried to update it last night but it wouldn't complete the update so i gave up...if this one doesn't work consistently i will return it like the last 2 and give the tnvtec autobox a try...

spoke too soon of the ottocast...stopped connecting the other day...going to return it and give the TNVTEC autobox a shot

Wireless Carplay Adapter, 2022 Alloy Alumium TNVTEC CarPlay Activator Dongle for i Phone with OEM Wired CarPlay for 2017-2022 Cars Model, Support Online Update, Automatic Plug & Play for i OS 12-15 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VCFQ77D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZTXFD8TGN9DCSPWYYT88?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

wife ran the new autobox wireless carplay adapter yesterday and today and it's worked so far...i did not try to update it...we'll see how it holds up...hopefully better than the 2 carlinkit 3.0s and the 1 ottocast that we previously tried and returned

added 3 of the 4 radiator protectors over the weekend...have to figure out how to get behind the grill to install the last one...top tray under the hood seems to be part of the front grill...i have to watch some more youtube videos or ask the seller

autobox carplay adapter is running well so far...did not update it before plugging it in

i wish there was a way to shut off forums you don't want to see in new posts for a user account...i would shut off the "how to buy a kia telluride" in a heartbeat...new posts is flooded with wait time threads, tracking threads, dealer specific threads for locations all over the country, kfos threads, failcat threads, msrp threads, how much did you pay threads, etc...would rather not sift through them to find interesting threads...would be nice but not a major thing...more of an efficiency/preference thing for me

Safelite replaced the windshield today with an aftermarket windshield...free glass in MA through insurance...hopefully this one is thicker than OEM cause that didn’t even make it through its first winter...we are now on windshield #2 for the record

2nd oil change coming up...ordered the oil on amazon so i have record of if...ordered a bunch of oem oil filters before the first oil change so i'm good to go...probably won't rotate tires if that has no effect on warranty...hopefully i can speed up my time this time around with the fumoto valve and the torque wrench still locked in from using it last time on the filter cover

wife used the auto up window switch on the passenger side door and got the dogs head stuck and when he pulled his head back into the car shattered the window...anyone know if there is an easy way to disable the auto up feature on the window switches?...i assume no and she is just going to have to be more careful...i assume there is a reason most car companies only put them on the driver's window only...guess we found out

front passenger window fixed today...safelite took care of it...free glass in MA so no charge

64k miles and our first check engine light
P0597…first issue I did the warranty work myself (oil filter housing leak) due to how we were treated at the local dealer…trying a new dealer this time…hoping for better results…we also have 4 recalls…going to have them do the drivers seat recall I think the other 3 have to do with software…I’m going to skip the parking brake recall…those are the only 2 that show up on nhtsa…I think the other 2 are software which I would rather not mess with as we haven’t had any issues with the software
