If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The KIA Telluride in Gravity Grey

Well considering I bought Gravity Gray, it's my choice color lol.

I've seen every color except black copper. Based on sales stats it's a unicorn. Nor have I seen gray wolf (not yet available Canada). I wouldn't have gotten gray wolf anyways because it's a color that many car makers have done in the past year... I see that color galore.

I hated black ebony, found it extremely dull. Plus impractical with dust. I like Snow Pearl white but again, impractical and worse for scratches.

Initially I was going to go Dark Moss because it's such an exclusive color. But as I was getting ready to buy, I re-checked it out (last time I checked was 2020 and I wanted quirks worked out first so waited 2021), wasn't in love with the color... Didn't think that color would be liked 5 years down the road and even less 10 years later.

I never liked everlasting silver. My last car was a true silver metallic highly reflective when detailed. Everlasting silver is like a trim silver to me.

I saw Sangria and again, wasn't in love with the color from afar. Up close it's a really dark red wine... From afar, it was much lighter, call it a young wine. Not my taste.

Gravity gray to me is just perfect. It's off black. Likely won't show dust as well as ebony black. Depending on lighting conditions it's nearly black with some metallic dust or a nice metallic gray. On a really nice day you may get some blue sky reflected into it turning it light grayish blue.

Again, color is purely personal. So there's no right or wrong choice.
I completely agree with all this and is why I also chose GG. Now I have seen a Black Cooper w Dune brown in person and it was very nice but just wasnt for me in the end

What interior color did you go with?

In Canada you only get black option interior for Gravity Gray.
That’s a shame. The light Gray interior makes the cabin look more spacious and refined.

This is my feeling exactly. I originally thought it would be too dark but It’s really a nice color, especially in the sun.

Ya that’s one thing I didn’t like. Telluride made at the same factory as the us versions are but we don’t get the same options. We have no dune brown option and the sx model does not get the same black wheels that the 🇺🇸 Version gets. I’m loving the gravity grey and was glad with our choice. I love the amber DRL’s. So far we’re the only ones in our small town (3500 people) with a telluride.

Installed Weathertech mud flaps. Rear ones were more difficult to install due to lack of access. I like the extra coverage.

Front ones are good. Fits well against the body. Rear ones are a bit odd... Top is a bit protruding instead of straight going flush to the body.

Pic of aftermarket 7pin.

Beautiful ride... enjoy

I personally find that the classic telluride trim is so elegant yet rugged and brawny ... the nightfall is bad ass and aggressive. Both versions are damn good looking... I get so many compliments and people spontaneously give me thumbs up at the stop light .. on top of great engineering, the design is everything I want out of an SUV... so well done.

Anyone else have pics of Gravity Gray in nightfall? I live in the desert where it’s very sunny most of the time, I want a medium to dark gray but don’t love the blue undertones I’ve seen in pictures with the nightfall. Am I over thinking this? I guess I need to see one in person somehow. 😩
Right here!

Also, I have never owned a grey car before (red and blue have always been my top choices) and I never thought I would be excited about a grey car, but I find the GG really compliments the body lines and the design elements of the telluride.

I know colour is a matter of personal preference.. In my opinion, you simply cannot go wrong with the GG. It has so much depth to it.It complements all the trim materials in the nightfall as well as the classic trim. It is not generic or boring in anyway (which is what I was worried about when I ordered our car back in August)... undeniably drop dead gorgeous !

Thanks for your opinion and description! When I see pictures like TheTownTelly’s it solidifies my decision of going GG with NE. Utterly bad ass and beautiful. I’m starting to wonder if sometimes it just doesn’t photograph well in certain light... occasionally I’ll see a picture of someone’s GG Telly that looks like an off color, or even a titch green... then again sometimes the black trim looks like a shade of grey in those pictures. I’m sure in person it’s not like that, right?
My Kia dealer has other models in Gravity Gray, but it’s hard for me to visualize the Telly and NE wearing it.
It’s going to be my wife’s, originally she wanted white (still loves it) but almost every Telly we see in our moderately sized town is white, and we haven’t seen a GG one yet. We just wanted something a bit more unique. So it’s going to be GG with NE and Dune for us! Ain’t many of those around!

It won’t disappoint. We went with gravity grey too as there are so many white and dark moss ones around now. I also have Borla exhaust to out in but I’m getting the exhaust tips done black first before I install as on the nightfall the only chrome piece is the exhaust tips. 554F7DDA-BD9A-45B4-A5DC-F1D098D5BCF5.webp7467DB70-4543-4F4D-A2D8-09C1F7B87ADE.webpC422FE7B-5DA3-43CD-8153-F56975D502CD.webp

I think some lighting conditions make it not photograph well. In person, I find it very beautiful in all lighting conditions. The nightfall trim is a mix of grey, gloss black, flat black and gunmetal materials... All complement the gravity grey colour really really well.

To answer your specific question, the wheels are gloss black in person (not grey)... They also look a lot better in person than in photos.. There is a certain 3d aspect to their design that doesn't come out in the pics.

Wow! Thanks for taking the time to post this and address my concerns. Those are great pictures, and I’m glad to hear that you love it in all lighting conditions. Where I live it is typically very bright (Utah desert), so that’s been one of my concerns.
I also haven’t heard anyone complement the wheels by describing a 3-D characteristic to them. Good to know.
I’m definitely overthinking this, can’t wait for my order to come in. Cheers!

Wow, the shine on this is amazing! Looks great, congrats!

That 3/4 tail photo is pure hotness! Love the black badges too.

Thank you. Will have to update pictures later. I did replace the rear already just haven’t taken any pictures. Did the steering wheel also.
