What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Well, I finally got mine today ordered. 6 to 8 weeks until delivery. I got the prestige custom in Pearl white with dune brown interior Napa leather. Adding some accessories, plus the towing package with the auto leveling, the MSRP was, $48625. Got $1000 off that, plus current incentives. Options are leasing it for $588, 12k/year with $2500 down, or $690 for 75 months with 5k down to purchase it. If delivery manages to be before April 30th, I’ll be able to get the founders discount of one month of payment by Kia, otherwise I hope May incentives are better. Fingers crossed.

Is that the reason they are out of stock? How about taxes and licensing? How does that play out considering I'm in Cali? Do they adjust the pricing accordingly or that is something I have to take care off once delivered and registered here?

Here is a link on the CA dmv website where you enter the price of the car and where you reside and it will tell you the sales tax you will pay and the registration cost.

I have a delivery date (to my front door) on 6/21 but i highly doubt that date given the factory is now closed. I am not in a hurry so am fine with the longer wait.

My experience with NowCar.com has been great so far. The customer service has been very helpful in walking me through the process, next steps, etc.

Congrats! Why can't we get a deal like that here in Cali? I have dealerships that don't even come close to that price! I just get a lot of laughs when I tell them under MSRP.

I did not. We thought about it, but we did not need many of the items that come in the package. The only thing we were really after was the seat color(it would have been great if Dune was available outside of Prestige). So we ended up with Butterscotch, which is fine by us. So we are happy with what it has.
It would be nice if car buying is better, its such a hassle and getting everything together. I have to go do the paperwork in an hour, but they are delivering the car for free so that's a plus. What's funny is it will sit in the garage with all the junk going on around us. But gives me some time to learn, and program the car (and then CQuartz coat it! Will take pictures later.

You're right about the hassle of buying a car specifically this model. It kinda defeats the purpose of buying a value, "best bang for your buck", suv! You can't even gloat that you have all the goodies and you paid way less than if you have had purchase a popular brand. Heck, with all these outrageous mark ups out here, I'm actually contemplating buying a luxury car! The like of Acura MDX or Lexus RX rivals the price I'm getting! The practicality of owning the Telluride vs the more upscale luxury brands are blurred because of the stealerships out there!

Sorry for venting. Enjoy your car! Go for a long drive just don't get out of your car lol!

My invoice says a 2020 model...delays may change that? Only time will tell.

The invoice on this car (they emailed me the invoice) is $46,948 so they are taking a profit off invoice of $209. the OTD price (that needs to be added is GA State taxes (7%) plus the registration fee. OTD is detailed below...

I hear you. My brother-in-law lives in San Jose. He bought a used Tesla Model S (of course I drove it!) Honestly, if I lived out there, one of the cars in my stable would be a Model S. He tells me how hard it is to get a car in California. What I notice is when we are out there people are not driving the base models, everyone is driving the high end Models! (M's, SS's, F Type, AMG, etc)

Funny you mentioned Tesla. I'm trying to purchase the Telluride to tie me up before the Cybertruck! I know it's about 2 years for it but I wanna wait 5 years for it to replace my Civic X which would be at 10th anniversary.

I tend to hold on to my cars a long time that's why I gotta go for the top trim toys!

I did check out the page and the Dune Brown is not available on any of the Exterior Colors. Also, average wait time is 8-10 weeks supposedly.

I wonder, if it turns out they're not gonna build 2020 anymore, do you get on the list for the 2021? How about price adjustments as I was told that the 2021 might be a tad more. Is it possible they would just cancel your order all together and you have to start all over?

BTW, did you put any deposit? Are they offering outside financing or KIA's own financing? I wanna take advantage of the April promo

I think Corona impacts to the economy will cause local dealerships to lower their prices and get rid of the high markups on the car. I did my transaction before Corona really impacted the economy so I am already down the path.

If you take the 1000 rebate, you will pay more than .9%, FYI In my case for 60 months it was 3.75%
