Where did you hear this? There was publication this week that they shut down for at least this week, with plans to potentially start back up this upcoming Monday, June 1st, if the supply chain is sufficient.Right!? Well rumor has it the factory is up and running and they will be showing up again soon.
Nice. Is AZ the only state with a shortage?Assuming the dealer meets what I’m looking for in a trade-in, picking up an EX (no premium package) for 40,230 this weekend. It’s MSRP minus a 1k rebate for financing.

a dealer told me that today. Most valley dealers are expecting some in over the next few weeks.Where did you hear this? We drove the Palisade this evening, SEL, with convenience and premium package, fwd. sticker $40,800, purchase price would be $39,000, plus $800 in dealer fees and sales tax. Interior is really nice, drives like our telluride did. We were really impressed overall, a big upgrade over the S model Telluride for only slightly more money on real world pricing. If only the styling were a tad better. It is growing on me though. In a nutshell we are being offered $1800’off on Palisade, best deal we can find within 350 miles on an ex is sticker plus $2000 addendum. Are they making more Palisade, or is the demand just that much more for the Telluride? The wild card choice is a 4runner trd off road sport, gonna drive it tomorrow. No blind spot, worse mpg, but it holds its value like crazy and I have a pretty good connection at the Toyota dealership.

From every dealer I've spoken to here in NY, it seems like most that are coming in are being put on hold before they even come in. I was supposed to pick one up Sunday, but the deal fell through, so I placed a deposit down on one that's still in the factory and expected to be delivered first week in July. All dealers out here are saying that the MSRP could go up substantially next year and that they're not producing many 2020's anymore outside of the custom orders. On another note, if anyone is looking for a FWD one, there's tons of them here in the tri-state area because everyone wants AWD.

Yeah, it might just be a "typical salesman" thing. We'll find out.Talked to a handful of dealers in NJ and none of them said the 2021 MSRP is going to go up substantially. Nearly all of them said it is going up a few hundred bucks.
Guess we wait to find out soon.
Hahaha, quite possible. We'll find out. Either way, happy I secured mineThis is typical poor salesman jargon.
99.9% of the time when a salesman says something that makes you go "omg we need to buy now" they have little to no idea of what they're talking about.

That is the most outrageous "deal" that I have heard of.... These things aren't made of gold. It's only a damn car. The 15K is really off the charts, though he probably is exaggerating. Have heard 5K, 8K, 10K. Where do you live? KIAs reputation will be hurt by this in the end. At least that is my thought.Local dealer told me they "only" add $7995 to MSRP, rather than $15,000 like their competitors. This is on ANY Telluride, not just SXP. In fact, I was looking for a regular EX.
I have no plans to reward this behavior. Sounds like a road trip is coming in my future.
