What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Just got my Telly yesterday. Bought it from Classic Kia, Waukegan, IL (highly recommend this dealer, very easy and straightforward to deal with).

Price I paid: $47,260 (SX-P/T)
Exterior Color: Dark Moss
Interior Color: Dune Brown

I have attached some pictures (The price above does not. include running-board that I had installed extra)

I just picked up a SX-P from Murray Kia in PA. Paid MSRP. Only downside was it had the price increase. Otherwise a really good experience.
Price increase explain?

Paid MSRP (see post above to see that MSRP as of Jan increased)
What increase are you talking about. I don’t see anything posted above

Sorry I missed that I was on my phone. I see it now

Your window sticker and the other one you posted didn't have the price increase on the sticker. Presumably because they were planned production before 1/3. In any case, you got lucky with your purchase. Unfortunately, many of the new vehicles produced will all have the increase applied. That's all he was referring to.

In Mirabel, Québec, Canada, I paid $2,230 under the MSRP of $49,995 CAD for a Telluride SX (Ebony Black). I had to do a lot of bargaining to get this $47,765 CAD price ($35,759 USD at the current currency rate). This price does not include the $1,895 CAD Delivery & Destination charge and taxes.

Initially they told me it would take a maximum of 3 months to get the Telluride, but now they are telling me I might get it at the end of March 2020 (so in about a month).

After talking to them and doing a lot of my own research, here is how I think the ordering process works in Canada for the Telluride (which is different than in the USA):

1- Contrary to the US, dealers are not assigned a predetermine numbers of units depending of their pass sale performance.

2- There are almost no Tellurides on the dealers lot. Usually you can test drive a demo Telluride which is driven daily by the sale manager.

3- When you are ready to buy, you will negociate the price at that time and you leave a reimbursable $500 deposit and they will order exactly what you want. You can cancel your order at any time.

4- If a new discount promotion from Kia Canada is available between when you leave the deposit and pick-up your Telluride, they will be able to apply this promotion.

5- It is with the client credit check and the $500 deposit that the dealer is allowed to order a specific Telluride for a specific client.

6- Kia Canada will then look at what's available in Canada and will either find an existing Telluride or order the exact model requested. The dealer told me it would take a maximum of 3 months.

7- When a Telluride is found, the VIN will be given to the client. If no Telluride is found a custom order will be done and the VIN will be given to the client once the VIN is known.

8- The dealer will contact the client when he receives his Telluride.

I think doing this if more fair for the customer that doing it like they do in the US. In the US there are a lot of bad dealers that receive a lot of Prestige Tellurides for which they charge over $5000 above MSRP.

I have found the following post in which you see a Canadian VIN, but that VIN does not show any dealer like in the US. There is also another sticker in that post that also has no dealer (it only shows ON for Ontario I guess, but the Telluride was shipped to a dealer in Québec in that post).

If there are other Canadian Telluride buyers, please share your buying experience and how much you paid.

In my opinion MSRP is not so important. The important figure is how much the dealer is paying for the car. To that amount you add 3% (Fair mark-up). That should be the best price you can get. To get dealer price you go on carcostcanada.com with the exact options. I am sure there is a similar website for USA
I paid for a White Telluride SXL $3000. under MSRP ($2000 off from dealer and $1000 off from Kia Canada Cash rebate since I did not lease or finance from them)
MSRP 52995 + 250 color charge + 115 taxes. levies + 1895 destination - 1000 cash rebate - 2000 dealer rebate + 399 dealer fees (full tank + first oil change) = $52654 which is 3.1% over dealer cost. They did not want to go lower but I am still happy.
When I left a deposit of $500 they said 10 to 14 weeks. I was lucky they found an unsold one with my spec the next week. I will take possession only after March 15 to avoid Montreal's roads with salt and avoid to put winter tires this year (Mandatory in province of Quebec from Dec.1st to March15)
@Michelw (ON) on the VIN does not refer to Ontario, it is the Telluride code at KIA as you can see on the .jpg I was thinking the same thing before I found that

Most dealers here are over MSRP because the demand is high. I got Msrp with a $1200 rebate for an LX with AWD. Most people want all the bells and whistles so you can find dealers will stay at MSRP or a little under for LX. LX is still really nice, same engine, feels like luxury, leather, carplay, UVO (started it with my phone this morning to warm it up).

Went to the Kia dealer in Santa Clara CA and they have a $10,000 ADM (additional dealer markup) on the top trim fully loaded model. I didn't attempt to negotiate because I'm not quite ready to buy. Does anyone know when the assembly line will be at full production so that dealers will have to start negotiating?

I got 1,700 off msrp, plus 2500 in rebates, plus a really good trade in of 2000 over KBB top end value. I'm in Ohio. Others have gotten the same here. Just depends on location really.
Interesting yesterday I drove an ex on the lot and was quoted 6k over msrp. Insane.
