What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

My dealer did this all over the phone and email. I picked out what I wanted and they sent me the kfos order breakdown and I put down a $500 refundable deposit. Then they sent me a receipt. I am surprised they are making you do a non refundable because they can easily sell it over MSRP if you didn't need it.

Thanks for the input. I don’t care much whether the deposit is refundable or not as I could not find any other dealerships willing to sell at MSRP within 500 miles of radius. Most likely they, Kia of East Syracuse, are my only option. I am just afraid they would add a markup when my Telly is available few months later. At that point if I refuse I would have to start all over again with another legit dealer.

These are terms that you should be able to negotiate with the dealership and should be in some form of writing at the very least. They won’t lose their public reputation over one sale.

All of the KC area dealers are charging huge markups and felt slimy. One dealership tried to sell me an incoming Telluride at a $7,000 markup that was already reserved for someone else. I assume if I took that offer, I'd be screwing someone out of their own order. That is why I'll be driving 3.5 hours to St. Louis to get mine at MSRP.

We just got our 2022 Everlasting Silver S AWD at MSRP from Premier Kia in Lufkin Texas. TTL, out the door for $42,281. All the dealers in my area (San Antonio) were marking up $5k+.

I got mine at Shawnee Mission Kia at MSRP. I believe Bob Sight Kia is also charging only MSRP. Unless things have changes since I got mine in April..

Have not called anyone else. But feels like no brainer process to go out of state and save $8k. Also better delivery window than at local low volume dealer waiting 10 months.

Question about shipping though, is everyone using their shipping company or just letting dealership handle it?

As delivery will be a while off, I'd wait until closer to pick up to get quotes from Fowler and other companies on your own. With current economy who knows if costs will go up or down in 10 months.

My plan is to get a quote once I have my ETA set and then decide if I want to fly out and drive home or just do transport.

Yesterday I paid $19k on a 2022 Prestige Nightfall with towing while trading in my 3 year old 2020 Prestige with 57,000 miles on it. I don’t like paying over sticker but I am happy with this deal in the current environment.
