• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telluride Founder's Club

The Founders Club seems to be some kind of irritating joke. I have contacted several dealers so I can TEST DRIVE a SX. No one has them. Then once that happens, what is the chance of me finding one the way I want? Color, Prestige package and tow package? (I haven't heard of any with the tow package). I then must order one to get what I want. Which means I won't get it in time to qualify for the Founders Club. "Must take delivery from a participating dealer and from retail stock from 3‌/4/2‌019 to 4‌/30/‌2019." What is the point of the Founders Club if they have no inventory????

There’s inventory at least by me. The one I bought Tuesday just arrived a couple days before. They also had a new sx prestiage in gray. .... be patient. I guess those who aren’t picky or are lucky will just get the discount I guess lol. I just wanted an ex in gray or black and got one easily. Was gona wait a few months but I figured incentives are decent for a new car and I got a good trade in price.

I negotiated the lease price of my vehicle without mentioning the founders club code, once they gave me the monthly price and told me my first month's payment, I showed them the code.

Hello All ... I'm very interested in the Telluride and I just heard about this club. How do I go about receiving the coupon for my first payment being covered up to $750 ???

I think they should honor the founders club deal if you put your order in before April 30. That’s not how it currently reads, but i wonder if someone here can reach a player at Kia and get them to budge.

I sent KIA an email about it because I ordered my Telluride and was told it would come in after this offer expires. The dealer didn’t have any advice because I was not the first person with the certificate. We are both waiting for a response.

I have also opened a case with KIA and have a case number with case manager assigned. Its been open for a couple of weeks and they can not figure out how to fix it. I purchase the vehicle on the 28th of Feb but took delivery on the 4th of March. I did not get the certificate email until around 7 March but meet the requirements of the delivery requirement of 4 March. Hopefully I hear something soon and will post an update here once I receive it.

How did you open a case with Kia?

Does it work with orders tho?

The fine print says:
Must take delivery from a participating dealer and from retail stock from 3‌/4/2‌019 to 4‌/30/‌2019.

Doesn't that mean the stock they have already and exclude factory orders?

Answering my own q: talked to a dealer who said it would apply to orders.

I saw that you could call and still be added to the founders club before month end...does anyone have that info? I can't find it now

Saw a post on another site regarding this. I’ll try calling them tomorrow:

Telluride Founders Club will take care of your first payment or offer a free two year Sirius XM subscription.

Call 1-844-495-2119, When prompted
  • Choose option 5
  • Then you will press # (because you do not know your representative’s extension)
  • Then # again (because you do not know your case number)

Interesting, I tried to post the link to another forum at

KiaTelluride dot org /threads/how-to-still-get-kia-telluride-founders-club-discount.157/

but the site autocorrects the URL and corrupts the link!

Well I called the above number today and was told that the "process" was to purchase the vehicle and then to give Kia the VIN so I was not provided with any case/reference/coupon number. Is this the case? I thought others were giving the case/reference/coupon number to the dealer at time of purchase. Can someone who's gone through the process provide their experience? Thanks!

I originally signed up on the website for the founders club back in Febuary. I then did it again from my secondary email a couple days later. My original email got an email at end of February saying incentives will be coming in a few weeks and never got anything. My secondary email ended up getting the incentive though.
When I leased my Telluride last week I was the first to use the founders club coupon/incentive. I had to fill out a form and put in my secondary email and contact info and the dealer was kind of unsure when it would process, so maybe 1st or 2nd payment. We will see... I haven't received anything in the mail yet but its only been 7 days since I got my Telluride :)

I'm wondering if I should push for getting an email with the incentive before I move forward (assuming I can find an SX that's not inflated crazily over MSRP!)

I just got off Kia Customer care service and verified, you don't need a founder email confirmation (or code) just buy before April 30th and signed the paperwork before that, you should be eligible for that very same founder's offer.

That is what Kia Customer care told me as well … hopefully it will work. Now if I could just find a unicorn (oh, I mean an SX, AWD, Prestige)!
