If you are in San Antonio - avoid World Car KIA and Ancira KIA. They both want to add between $1,800 and $2,900 in "Appearance packages" that amount to dealer mark up. Even if you order one - they require you to buy these packages. They were rude and didn't really even want to work with someone to order a Telluride. I ended up going with Stephen Cantrelle in Dallas. He was professional and will order one for you at MSRP. Worth the trip to Dallas to deal with a true honest professional.

Also seems a little misleading to the consumer that they're trying to make this look like a Kia sponsored addendum. Logos are huge, and they're trying to make it look similar to how the monroney looks only smaller. Also, what is PDI Kit (usually that means pre-delivery inspection), and PCP? Using acronyms is also probably not allowed. Generally when I've seen ADM and/or BS items added, it's literally an add on piece of paper printed off someones regular black and white printer and easy to tell it's the dealer tacking on junk.

Wonder if the attorney generals office down there would care since this is all purposely misleading to the consumer?

They can charge whatever they want just like how I can decide wherever and who I buy from. Just be patient & informed and you will always win.

I don't even bother messaging the internet department anymore at the dealerships around me. All I ask is - what is your MSRP out the door and what is my car's trade in value worth to you. All that extra garbage in the middle regarding monthly payments is just a % game to distract you from getting the best value of your current car and the best deal on the car you want.

Downtown LA Kia is insane. I don't understand how they have SO many Tellurides. The few times we've spoken/emailed with them they offer to slightly negotiate down their price with a 10k addendum!! We just laugh at them. They insist ALL dealerships have these markups. I would never ever do business with them now or in the future.

Was literally about to purchase one from World Car last weekend and was floored when i saw that $2,900 "package" loaded with a bunch of nonsense. This was before i knew dealers all over the country were marking them up so i was shocked that they refused to remove it, so I left.. I sent Ancira an email yesterday and asked them if they were also marking up their Tellurides, and their reply was "oh no of course not, we don't mark up vehicles based on popularity... BUT we do have this appearance package that we put on our Tellurides that can't be removed" I was like okay great thanks... LOL

Happy to help... got plenty of clients from Austin/Houston here.. I’m in DFW.. do all orders at MSRP.. have a good selection of EX Premiums as well without deposits incoming.

We bought our SX back in July for MSRP. You can now get a 2020 Acura MDX for 10K off MSRP. Maybe a bit out dated, but 55K for a Telluride, or 45K for a loaded MDX? Unless people have the extra 10K to burn. And Kia service is awful. We love our Telly, but not for a penny over MSRP.

Southwest Kia of Austin did not honor my SX order. Claim that the previous employees placed the order in their old system and somehow it was not transfer to the new system.... Of course they don't want to sell it to me at msrp if they can easily sell it with markup. I can't see myself paying anything at, let alone above MSRP.
