Yesterday my car showed up on my dealers web site. I thought that didn't happen until the car was shipped but I guess I was wrong.
Finally!!! congrats!!!
Hey @MarcinTexas Thanks for holding you're truck back a few days. Looks like my little SX has managed to hitch a ride and will be leaving with yours tooHang on a few days Marc, mine will be ready any day now and need a space on your truck![]()
There is one with most. but not all of what I ordered posted yesterday headed to the dealer I ordered from. Would think that it could be entered correctly if I went over my order list three times with both the sales and the general manager. Have not received call from dealer telling me they have a VIN as they promised but that is to be expected from my experience so far.Great news! Been off the forums a bit today so what a nice surprise to see so many finally get their VIN. @PassingTime Did you get one?
Just got the word...my Telluride has left the factory. Should be at the dealer on the 13th. Current plan is for my son and I to fly up to Dallas Saturday (10/17) early morning and pick it up before lunch. Will finally get to meet the illustrious @StephenCantrelle in person. This is getting real!! The extra days will give them time to tint my windows and get it all pretty and clean for me.

No problem, was just playing. I’m sure they’ll be another truck sooner or later. This is getting really real.Sorry - hopefully you get a truck in the next day or so.

Imagine all the dealers... they look at data and tell all the clients... switch to nightfall and get sooner... now nightfalls have come to screeching halt... going to be alot of overpromising on turnaroundsLooks like I'm getting my nightfall right before the bottom fell off for production. Whew.

I am sure they had huge stockpile on Nightfall parts ready to go... they milked that dry and now going back to batches.. (just my opinion) but I think we see a week or two of normal SXP than alternate to Nightfalls... and continue that patternIndeed, not a good spot to be in. Why KIA can't just have a nice balance of the two is beyond me. Then again I have no insight into the logistics of all that, but still.

Yeah - the pendulum really did swing in the opposite direction. However - considering you couldn't even order a Nightfall until a couple of months ago - it makes sense to clear up the long backlog of orders going into late last year of SXP orders. Hopefully once those are cleared they can get to a balanced production for all trims. The good news is that the factory is really pumping out Tellurides. I see inventory starting to rise on cars.com (I know - not a perfect barometer) which will help sales for people that need to walk in and buy one and don't want to wait for an order. If they can keep up the high production - we just might see Telluride sales balance out between supply and demand by end of the year or Q1 next year. After two years on the market - dealer markups might finally come to an end!
