Thanks! Now just waiting on delivery! Will post pictures when we get it.Glad you got what you wanted at a fair price. Enjoy!
Basically same I did. Need a new vehicle, but not right this minute (new baby on the way). Wife only wanted white with light interior and said it had to be SX because of the turn signal cameras. Researched for weeks, decided on this over Toyota and Honda based on what you get for the money alone, and chose this over Palisade as we still know nothing about it. Found a dealer here in Atlanta that was giving a fair price, (all the others right now are charging over MSRP by up to 10K) and put down my down payment last week. Out the door cost for a White SX with butterscotch interior and the tow package will be just over 45k. All in all we are glad we didn't wait as we feel prices will get more ridiculous before they get better.
That $1k comes out of Kia's pocket, not the dealers, they don't care. The dealer still made plenty of money on your deal, trust me.Hi Everyone,
Got a Telluride for the wife last Friday (5/31). Wanted an S with AWD in either the moss green or the dark grey. Only dealer that had a S AWD wanted MSRP +4k so just over 41k. I tried to talk them down but they wouldn’t budge. I went to a closer dealer to my house and was able to talk them into MSRP for the Telluride at the other dealership. Since I told them it wasn’t the color my wife wanted I asked for below MSRP. They ended up throwing in paint protection, under coating, interior protection, and rim protection for free. Also threw in all around tint as well. Once I said deal I told them I qualified for the 1k cash back for having a competitive car brand already owned. So I got the Gravity Grey S AWD for 1k under MSRP and paint protection, under coating, tint, rim protection and interior protection. Best of all I made my wife go nuts when I pulled up in her new ride

Impression of Kia dealers in Colorado.
Tynan's Kia in Fort Collins: This is where I purchased and the farthest dealer I contacted (120 miles). Their initial asking price was MSRP, but no discount. We reached on agreement with only emails. They never tried ripping off. They seem like most responsive and transparent dealers I've ever met.
Phil Long Kia: My local dealer where I put the initial order. They were not bad, but they are not responsive and late to make my order to Kia.
I-25 Kia: They emailed me yesterday they would have 11 incoming Tellurides in June. Five of them are not spoken as of May 27.
Arapahoe Kia: Initial asking price was MSRP. They are good, but asked non-refundable deposit on orders. Offered me a SX coming in three weeks, but I gave up because of black+black colors, my least favorite.
Peak Kia (Three branches in CO): They asked thousands of mark up. Last dealer I'd visit.
I tried the MedVed Kia. They said they had two SX available, so I requested more detail information about those two SXs. But, they did not respond to my email. Yeah, that might be lucky for me.Lucky you didn't try MedVed. They called me today saying they will have a Black with Grey interior SX-Prestige next week. They only want a market adjustment of $10k on top of MSRP...

I'd try Tynan's Kia in Fort Collins. They were not shady. Also, I think a little bit less demand on Telluride in Fort Collins than Denver. I worked with Nicole. Not only that but the guy asked me if I wanted to be kept on the list in case they drop it to $5k market adjustment. I said nope. Only willing to pay MSRP.
You said 36 out the door .. now u say 37. So which is it ?Yeah dealer mark up was 46k I got it down to 37k before tax and tags/registration. I was in Pa
As I said in another post, A dealer called me to let me know someone backed out of their order and I can have the vehicle if I want. It will be in end of july. Its an sx prestige awd white pearl with dune nappa leather. So I'm excited until he tells me they are going to charge over msrp but not sure how much. This sucks as I was a day late ordering the exact package at another dealer at $1500 under msrp. My question is how much would you go over msrp?? I don't even want to pay msrp as I feel taken. Not sure if I should wait till I can order or jump on this. I am not on a lease so I can wait but the escalade is creeping up in mileage~ 138,000.
Ordered mine in March 21. ETA is June 26 so that makes mine 14 weeks from ordered date to ETA. Mine is a Black Copper SXP AWD Brown napa leather and towing. I hope my Christmas comes in June.Hi All,
Ordered the White/Dune Nappa SX-P on April 16th. I went in on Friday to the dealership and the manager said that we're looking at a late July delivery because of the bottleneck on the nappa leather (which I already knew about because of this forum). Thats about 15-16 weeks from order to delivery. Is anyone else receiving time frames like this?
You are sadly mistaken if you think the residual value will be higher, later on down the road. There is NO increase in MSRP, just crazy dealers charging over the sticker price (MSRP).This is a hard decision but it depends upon how badly you want the vehicle.
I'd be comfortable at $2K over MSRP but that would be my upper limit. $2K in the grand scheme of things isn't a whole lot of money and you also get the card you want.
I also get a distinct feeling that the residual values of our Tellurides would be quite a bit higher because of this increase in MSRP. But that we won't know until several years from now.

And crazy buyers paying it. I want one as much as everyone on this message board, but I am just not crazy enough to over pay.
