What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Here in ATL all the dealerships have 3k to 5k mark up. I was able to get the dealer to go from 4K to 2k but there really isn’t too much wiggle room.

Gorgeous!

Would you mind sharing the dealer and the primary person you worked with? I'm down in FL, but ATL is only a 45 min flight for me.

I've called several dealerships throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. Quotes were from $4k over MSP to $12k over MSRP. The lowest I was able to negotiate to was $3k over MSRP, but that car didn't include prestige (which I wanted). We ended up buying from Classic Kia of Carrollton at $4k over MSRP.

I never in my life thought I'd pay over MSRP for a car, but also never thought I'd own a KIA either. We looked at Lincoln Aviator, Yukon, Tahoe, Atlas and Highlander. Atlas and Highlander were certainly cheaper, but the Telluride is honestly so much nicer. I could justify that I was paying a net of $8k more over the Atlas or Highlander, because I see $8k more of tech and features in the car.

Huffines in the North Dallas suburbs are offering at MSRP. I went with Huffines Corinth and have had an incredible experience working with Jeremy Rosado. I plan to post a note in the Good Dealer thread shortly. Ordered our ride on 8/31 and have an ETA for delivery of 10/1. Clearly we got lucky with timing (and the Nightfall production storm) but appreciated the open/honest communication from Jeremy throughout the process.

We paid MSRP for our 2021 S AWD but had to drive from central Iowa to St Louis to get it. We were able to get an incoming one that had the color and options we wanted. Local dealer had $3k markup and would have had to order it from them so not a big deal for us to make the drive.

Wait don’t rush trust me you will find a great deal inbox me your location let me see what I can find. I can’t figure out how to inbox you on here lol
Where would you get a good price on a telluride?

For those in the NY/NJ/PA area, it might be worth a try calling Abeloff Kia in Stroudsberg PA. I inquired with them about a month ago and I think they were charging MSRP -- although that might've changed since then. Their website currently shows 16 Tellys in their inventory but they might be pre-sold already, who knows.

They are all sold. It’s a 3-4 month wait.

Bummer to hear they're all sold. Funny because they still email me to see if I'm still interested in the 2021 Telluride. I guess they're trying to get me to order one.

After a month plus hunt and talking to nearly 25+ dealers in California, the west and beyond, checking all the apps on a regular basis (AutoTrader, Edmonds, Carvana, Car Gurus, Cars.com, etc), trying Costco Auto/Truecar, and being resigned to having to get the car in the one color we didn't want one (but for MSRP + a $250 add on) in a different state three months from the date of deposit OR to a special order (for MSRP + $2k in add ons), we found the exact Telluride we wanted (Sangria EX) for the price we wanted (MSRP).

Thanks to Moe at Kia Hilltop for delivering as promised. I actually found him through this forum, so special thanks to all of you as well. Call or text his cell directly (510-230-9198) and let him know Brent sent you!

Do you mind sharing where/who you ended up working with? I’m in Austin as well, and I’m over our local dealers.

Tried to buy an SXP with Nightfall & towing package this week through two local dealers (Austin, TX), one wanted around $13k over MSRP and the other $10k. No thank you.
Anyways, after hours of emailing and calling around, I found a KIA dealership a few hours away willing to put in an order for me at MSRP with a $500 deposit. He said it will take 3-6 months for KIA to fill the order and deliver the car, but I am in no rush so I can wait. He said he's been even getting orders from Florida, I guess he's going for volume and the easy sell.

I ordered from Fort Bend Kia near Houston, they've been mentioned a few times here in the forum. The salesperson I worked with there is Arseniy.

Thanks!! I went to Lou Sobh kia in Cummings ga and I worked with Robert Welks. If you find one in stock they might be able to do everything over the phone. Sorry for the delay I couldn’t figure out how to find the comment lol

I looked at that also. @johnwashere2 - how did things work out for you? Obviously you didn’t wait out the madness and ended up going with the Telly. how did you make out?
I ended up getting my Telluride March of last year. Did a 3 year lease for an EX AWD. MSRP was $40k. Got 15k miles a year , did $700 down - $499 a month after all fees and taxes. Also ended up getting free 3 years premium Kia Maintance - basically includes all maintaince, key fob replacement , roadside assistance. The look has grown on me and I’m very happy with everything. Couldn’t beat it for that price.

Thanks for the rec. He was great to work with. Let the waiting begin! :)

Augusta GA dealers pushing $60K on SX models. OUTRAGEOUS. Tellurides easy approach $50K now or more. $56K to $60K is hard to swallow. When these are used and owners try to get a fair trade in or resale they will lose. SAD

Haha, I'm a guy from Virginia who's willing to make a road trip with my wife to take advantage of Kia of Muncie's willingness to use Costco pricing. Nobody near me when searching in my area does Costco pricing, either.

I‘m a couple hours from NOVA and hear they’re getting $10K over. But a dealer 30 mi from me is selling at MSRP. Said starting for LX is $35K and the one they got in the other day sold immediately. There’s a loaded SX still on the lot.

Now I know why they didn’t respond to my emailed offer of 5% over MSRP.

ALM near Atlanta was $2900 over MSRP for in stock. Contact the GM Jerry Howell.
