Sooooooooo, apparently my vehicle didn't pass PDI. Rear Passenger Sensor failed. They wouldn't deliver it to me until it passed all checks. I went up and saw her anyway...BIG mistake. That vehicle is BEAUTIFUL! Now the wait until Tuesday/Wednesday (when they can get that part delivered) is going to be even worse.

My salesman mentioned to me that he already have several people asking about her. I just keep thinking this is the start of something bad, like someone offered them more $$ and they're using this as an excuse to tell me it's going to be sent back or something. Am I just being paranoid?

My flight is for 9/22 so I'm not going to change it yet hoping it shows up before then. I mean....Domino's can track a $10 pizza in REAL TIME yet Kia can't track a $50K SX-P at all? I smell something....and it damn sure ain't pizza.

Turns out they can track it, now they say it's on rail in Ohio waiting on truck transport, of which there is a shortage as we know. Good luck!

Rochester, NY so about 6 hours away from Ohio, and I'm 6 hours away from Rochester in NYC. To make matters worse I just sold my Jeep on Tuesday so I guess I'll be bicycling for a bit longer

We're going with the Dark Moss and Dune interior. Can't wait to see this thing in person! They're saying due to COVID, can expect a 9+month wait for delivery. Now the waiting game begins!

9+ month wait seems long at the current production rates. That is unless they have lots of people in line waiting for an allocation at your dealership. Do you know the status of the allocations at KIA of South Austin?
